@@Borodin410there's a waves plugin I have that does as well.. Greg wells.. forgot the name of the plugin, but it's one in his line.. not this intricate tho
Can it actually ride the level of the effects? THIS is what would be brilliant to me.. Could save a lot of sidechain compression and gating on verb for example, so the very only comes out at the tail end of the vocal rather than being washed out right through. I think I just gave them an idea.
The idea is a great one, But it doesn’t make me want to stop the process of splitting each into a bus, And siding it to a compressor with correct hold setting and or with a vocal rider..
Question. On all of these rider plugins, how does the plugin know when to go from a to b? What is the logic behind this? Is it modeling the analog process of the engineer on the rider? If so, why would you decrease and increase your reverb bus like this?
It looks like it side chains it like what you can do with a compressor to duck the reverb while a singer is singing a then lets the reverb come back for the tail of the vocals.
Can someone please help me create a unique vocal chain preset. I have the ability to record all day but I just don’t like the way I sound and I don’t have time to get very technical with plugins.
What style of music you make?, usually different style call for different vocal chains. you might want to keep it more natural or heavily processed rock/pop sound.
I knew they were gonna come up with a vocal FX plug in to compliment the new vocal cleaner plug in. Awesomeness
this plugin hard, I like the chorus 2 texture
IT SHOULD BE $29 !!!!
It will be. Gotta love Waves constant sales promos!!!!!!

It’s ducking. You don’t want the reverb signal to be as loud-otherwise you’ll get an ambient soup.
Silk vocal / wave rider. Vocal chain complete
Are you using the plugin as a send or directly in the signal chain?
The fact that the mix is 100 per cent means it's on the send, that is, the plugin outputs just the wet signal
Definitely a send if the wet knob it at 100%
you can do either or
Yes
