Super enjoyable vid. It’s one of my favorite tunes off of an all time classic album.

Instant suscribe! Great choice of Stevie Wonder songs! Thank you...
    A couple questions for you!
Do you take requests (of Stevie Wonder songs)?
What is your keyboard? (Nice sound)

Hey thanks a lot! Glad you found the video helpful! To answer your questions, yes I do take requests (especially Stevie Wonder Songs) and the keyboard I'm using is the Yamaha Montage 8 (the sound I'm using in this video is called Beauty Harp) however the keyboard I use when I'm gigging is the Yamaha MODX8+ it has all the same sounds as the Montage 8 but with slightly less features (and its about 50lbs lighter lol)

Awesome tutorial, really appreciate you making this!! Did you pick it up by ear to make this? I'm REALLY trying to get to that point but it's pretty daunting.

Hey Thanks! I did pick it up by ear. I know it can be tough, it took me some time to get to this point. Some of the best advice I got was from a drummer, he said to just listen to the radio and try to play along and figure out the song before it ends. You won't get it every time, some songs are harder than others, but every new song that comes on is another chance to get it right. I feel like that helped me out a lot. Another useful tip I sometimes use is to try and figure out the melody first. It can give you some clues as to what key the song is in, then figure out the bass or root notes of the chords, then figure out the chords last using the information you gather from the melody and the bass. For example if the melody indicates that the song is in the key of E, and the Bass or Root note is playing an F#, chances are it'll be an F# minor chord of some kind. Also there is an app I use for ear training called "goodEar Pro" I think it might just be for iPhone I'm not sure, but either way I recommend using some kind of ear training software. Something that plays a random chord and you have to guess from multiple choices of like Minor7 or Major7 or Dominant 7#9 etc. Ok I know this a long comment but hopefully that helps you out lol
