He never said he hated the movies and actually had no regrets. What’s wrong with you people? What he did regret was all the scrutiny and hate from the critics and the “Damies” who were threatening to his wife and children.
I saw the movie and enjoyed it for what it was. A rom/com of two very awkward and lonely people and their families. Especially because I have no knowledge of how the actors were supposed to sound for the region of Ireland it depicted. It appears Jamie and Emily became good friends with a lot of inside jokes. From other interviews I have seen, Emily Blunt has a wicked sense of humor so I am curious as to what she was laughing about when she teases Jamie.
DConnie, I so agree with you if Jamie hated playing Christian Grey so much he wouldn't wouldn't as well known as he is. Yes he was Good in The Fall, Anthropoid, The Siege of Jadotville. Those I would consider good ones but you never hear anyone raving about any other of his movies like they do about FSOG. That Comedy he did OMG! pathetic. He might have had fun doing it but if he has to say at home with his family to make pictures so his wife doesn't worry his career is done. because he's done a lot of movies but of no consequence. So quit knocking FSOG.It made you who you are.
If he hated playing Christian Grey so bad , but no one would have know who he was without it. Scott Eastwood would had been a better choice for Fifty Shades. Just Saying
Connie: someone hating to play a part in a movie, but doing it three times. I never knew who he was until Fifty Shades. Well since he feels that way, he'll never get that kind of recognition from any other movie.
