When I got this I was reminded how behind the curve in game production Queen are these days. 10 years ago we wouldn't have given having to sticker the die any thought. Now the instant thought is "why isn't this a custom-printed die?".
I can't disagree with some of the games I've seen but 3 years on, Queen Games now has an environmentally friendly range of games that puts them at the forefront of the trend. Maybe they took on board criticisms like yours!
If you buy this game, you should get the first expansion ! And if you really enjoy this game already, get the second expansion because it adds 8 more rune stones and a lot more !!! I really love this game.
One thing that wasn't clear-- when you get a runestone for your druid, do you get to choose which one? Or do you just get the next one from a randomized pile?
I Player it at Essen and while it -like all Queen Games I have Player, felt alright and well designed, I missed- like Most Queen Games of recent years- the Last 10% that would have made me buy it. Would Play it again, though.
@You can't leave this empty. I backed the ks. So have I backed a few more over the last years. Never had a problem with them. In this one some people were upset because the games arrived after Essen. We got the games in November. That is still very fast. I think queens ks in the past where horrid but nowadays they have improved.

One of the best games we got in Essen. What's more, it was an instant hit with everyone we played with. Highly recommended.

The expansion is a must, even if it's your first play. Easy to learn/incorporate and makes the game even better!

Welp, I just went All In on the expansion to get the base game. Does definitley look like my group will enjoy the heck out of this though.
They so didn't get the design of the rune stones from the infinity gauntlet, did they?

If all the gems acts the same, why have different colors?
I guess you can guess it if you check the video.
You have to spend the same color gems as the artifact you want to buy.
Really surprised Tom liked the board, I thought it was very busy and unattractive.

Wish Queen Games would sort out their Escape Kickstarter before they push more games out to the reviewers.
That appears to be what has happened this time. They have gone completely silent on Kickstarter now. So frustrating.
