Since I have been using your techniques with under painting and applying foundation, I have gotten so many compliments! My makeup isn't cakey or blotchy anymore! I love the way you break it down into simple but precise steps. I apply my foundation exactly how you describe and flawless every time! Thank you so much! Peace and Love ☮️❤️

I have ADHD, and I need things in very basic steps. This was extremely helpful because I’ve tried asking people at Sephora how to do this and they could never give me a straight answer. I absolutely love your video. Thank you very much.

Sameee. I've been doing makeup for 8 years and my ADHD makes my routine randomly switch up and I wont remember what the last routine was or the products so I'll randomly have good foundation phrases and then bad ones and rn I'm in a bad one and I cant remember steps or anything bc my brain is running a mile a minute. But this tutorial is very helpful!

Just an updated comment: I tried ALL of your techniques to prevent undereye creasing and to set my makeup yesterday for the July 4th holiday. I had it on for 9 hours and when I got home, other than a little deweyness on my cheekbones, my makeup was still flawless!!! Your tutorials, tips and tricks have been a total game changer! THANK YOU!!! 🥰🥰🥰

Yes, I like it when you break it down. It makes a difference when you break it down and explain it! Some people are more visual . I love the way you do foundation, because the way you it you don’t waist it! A small amount goes a long way!!thank you!! So much!!

  • @72bslade

Thank you so much. I’ve been watching all of your videos over the past couple of weeks. I was never taught “proper” techniques of applying makeup, and when I reached my late 30’s, ALL makeup started breaking my face out even after a few hours of wear so I stopped wearing any makeup for years. I’m turning 50 this year, and my face has tiny areas on my cheeks that have very visible, very tiny blood vessels, and just uneven skin tone all around, so I’ve decided to give makeup another go. I’m at the very bottom of the learning curve. Makeup today is so much different than it was when I was younger, and seems so much harder to use. I only want a very natural, light, matte look with a tiny bit of contour on my cheekbones (I really don’t care for blush) and jaw, very light earthy-toned eye shadow and a small bit of mascara. Your videos are extremely helpful, especially the 101 series, and the ones for mature skin. Any tips are greatly appreciated!

Makeup doesn't have to be over complicated. Learn & use what you like and enjoy. I love makeup but I certainly don't have all the products (& all the cash or free samples) that all the TH-camrs & makeup artists use.

Im totally new to makeup world. All this while i have only used compact powder, mascara and lipsticks.. Never gone beyond this 3 applications.
I’ve bought all the brushes and sponges, eye shadows, Lancome & Maybeline foundation, Revlon & Lancome concealer, CD mascara and etc.
Wish me luck, im kinda attracted to makeup lately coz those who are good at doin it (just like u are) really can make some wow factor touches on.

Hi Nina I was so happy to see this tutorial. I have been trying to apply my make up like you taught us but it looked horrible. I think I was using the wrong powder. This tutorial lifter my spirits and I decided to follow it step by step. My make up looked fabulous. Thank you I needed this. I left May14th to California to see my best friend of 60 yrs and had no idea she was on kimo. We traveled to Oregon because she wanted us to do a road trip. It was beautiful all along the coast the ocean was breathless. Arriving back to California I received a call telling me that my husband had a very bad heart attack and there was no blood flow to the heart. He made it though the operation. At the hospital while he was resting I found your tutorial it made me feel so happy it brightened up my day and made me want to put make up.on. Thank you so much Nina.

Thank you!! I love the way you demonstrate and explain the small stuff as I guess, like any skill, those demonstrating it will often skim the the small stuff, and also there’s the perception that there’s no need to show the basic things as everybody already knows about it.
I also value your teaching/educational approach and it’s so, so great that you listen to requests from your followers. I hope you keep doing so as many content creators don’t do that so much now.
Finally, thank you kindly for showing me from beginning to end how to apply seamless foundation that looks just so great, and I also very much appreciated seeing the steps involved prior to your application of foundation. And, you answered the wet or dry sponge question!
Thanks again. You’ve gotten yourself another subscriber…. and not a very concise one but oh well lol

@@ladymystery9066When people call someone else beautiful they are talking about their physical appearance and not "having a good personality". Those two are very different things. If you wanna compliment someone's personality there are much better ways to do so than saying "you are beautiful". That will just confuse everyone since its meaning is tied to "physical appearance".
We really don't need to mix two different concepts into the same terminology.

Love your videos ❤️ I’ve learned so much. I’ve always wanted to go to school for makeup but unfortunately never did. What are some of your favorite products with SPF? Also, what products do you use for your night routine? Your skin looks amazing

Finding your channel has truly been so amazing to ensure that my makeup is put on “flawless”. The techniques for applications as you explain are very user-friendly to understand. That is the biggest hurdle of mastering the “steps” as you noted. I am feeling so very confident and my first go at it today all I can say is WOW! Yes, I do agree that time will get perfect and flawless. ❤

Great tutorial. My biggest mistake is putting foundation dots all over my face…then hurriedly trying to play “ join the dots” to cover every area of my face….which means I have not taken the time to blend it seamlessly.

Solid techniques as always. You not only apply your makeup beautifully but teach others, including me, how to do my makeup better. I’m wondering. I totally understand why you use and recommend a Beauty Blender. However, it’s just not my tool of choice most days for foundation or blending. I prefer tools that are easier for me to keep clean, like brushes. Would it be possible to do a video on foundation techniques with a brush? Thank you, Nina! I love your work!

Would you recommend this same method when using a tinted moisturizer? I often use Nars Tinted Moisturizer and Nars Light Reflecting Foundation. I’ve been told that a foundation brush is best for the lighter product (from a Sephora employee). I’ve learned so much from you and your channel, hence why I’m seeking a professional’s advice! ❤️

    • @NinaUbhi1
      @NinaUbhi1  2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

Yes you can still use this technique with tinted moisturizer - I personally feel the best finish comes from a beauty blender ❤️
