Shelly is the greatest 100m runner have ever seen, no matter who have ever ran faster than her she's just the greatest, base on her accomplishments and knowing to the fact she's still running fast times at her age , unboubtly she's the greatest. ❤
exactly. world records will come and go and people will keep getting faster. but what will remain is the gold medals and the impact she's had on the womens track. Undoubtedly the most impactful female sprinter in the history of track. she keeps raising the bar and breaking boundaries and setting new ones. can't think of a single female sprinter at the moment who doesnt look up to her. when she's in a race, at least 2-3 people always get a PB. As Daphne Schippers once sais, " if youre close to fraser Pryce at the end of a race, you know you've got a medal". talk about IMPACT.

She compete with her best in her time she was fit and injury free. It don't make her the greatest. Had she not injured her knee in Africa. She could still be on top and competing. I am afraid she has to be healthy to have a chance to earn a medal this year.
The woman has demonstrated and proven her patriotism to her country. It's unfortunate that those who have the position of leadership lacks the patriotic elements that Mrs. Price possess.

Jamaica should be embarrassed for the spectacle they made of this. I commend Shelly for continuing her journey to represent a country that didn't want her to represent them. I remember they had the audacity to have a poll to vote for who should go to the Olympics, on TV! Shameful. Rules are rules. She made them eat their words. I didn't see the doubt and hate you were talking about. I saw people being sentimental about Veronica, saying that they will love her even if she came last. I did not see anyone doubting or hating Shelly Ann Frazier.
For myself, I remember that time, and how impressed I was with her being where she was. Some people wanted Veronica to go to the trials instead of her, based on mere experience...but that would never hold water in the real world. Neither would is be fair. I don't believe that Shelly-Ann's performance in the big games was shocking either. People tend to ignore the obvious and then pretend to be amazed when the results appear. If Shelly was in America, no one would be surprised about her simply going to the direction of her destiny. She did not come with any doubt...it was not like she struggled, like say Shericka, before the fireworks. Shelly-Ann was a human rocket from day one, everywhere she went. Veronica was a super hero ALREADY, and that was why some people had their foolish sentiments. IT'S NATURAL. There was nothing about hating anyone.
