Same here. I started watching wrestling in 2002. My introduction to Undertaker was this persona, so seeing the Deadman gimmick was so weird to me in 2004. ABA Taker's mic work alone was so entertaining.
This channel is EXACTLY what I've been looking for! Thank you! I was never a fan of The Dead Man retuning in '04, your video really speaks to me here. At Survivor Series (and the weeks leading up to it) I believe Undertaker was Undertaker in name only. He had stopped dying his hair, he didn't even show up at Survivor Series on a motorcycle & he came off so much more authentic, IMO. I would've loved your timeline, but seen a more real version of Taker going into 2004 & 2005. So glad ive found your channel tonight! Thank you! I'd love to see a timeline of what if Sting showed up at WWF Invasion in 2001?
good channel...just subscribed. Can u do a What If? on: 1) What if HHH never got injured in May 2001 and if he woulda been on the Alliance or Team WWF? 2) What if Stone Cold never turned heel at Wrestlemania 17? 3) What if The Rock never left for Hollywood in April 2001 & what woulda happened in the storyline? 4) What if all the WCW/ECW stars came during the Invasion of 2001? 5) What if Stone Cold was active for the whole year of 2000 & would The Rock had been As Big? 6) What if the Coporate Ministry angle had lasted the whole year of 1999? 7) What if the WWF draft in 2002 never happened and both shows remained with everyone on the roster appearing on the same show? 8) What if WCW/ECW never closed? 9) What if the McMahon-Hemsley Era lasted the whole year of 2000? 10) What if Booker T had a face run as King Booker? 11) What if Kurt Angle competed in UFC/MMA? 12) What if John Cena remained as the Dr. Of Thuganomics persona his whole career?
I think it should have been a buried alive match at No Mercy 2005 between Undertaker and Randy Orton. The whole point of buried alive matches is for when The Undertaker is ready to change gimmicks. It would make a lot of sense for Undertaker to carry on his American Badass/Big Evil character in 2004 and 2005 since he was still in his Big Evil attire when he came back as the Hybrid Deadman at Wrestlemania 20. I think a few people back in late 2003 around September to November time knew that Undertaker was bringing back his old gimmick in time for Wrestlemania 20 as he was growing his long hair back
Just discovered your channel and I think it's just what I was looking for cus lately I've been thinking What If the WWF didn't purchase WCW in Match 2001? No Invasion angle, what happens in the WWF. Triple H still gets injured though as well as The Rock leaving to film The Scorpion King
This was a great video, the big evil version of The Undertaker was my favourite. In a future episode could you do a video on "What if Kane didnt unmask in 2003"
I think was good idea to go back to the Deadman character because he was stale in 2002-2003 dont get me wrong i did like is Biker gimmick in 2000 and earlier 2001 with the long hair and kid rock song but i feel tht heel turn in ending of 2001 was so pointless he make Taker more stale as the Biker if was stale they should have him go back to the Deadman character more earlier in the years.
What are the major events if the Rock stayed full time until his match with Cena and what if SummerSlam 97 Stone Cold Injury never happened and stayed on the roster til let’s say WM 25
2:45. Bad booking you might as well not even change what happened in real life with Taker coming back as the Deadman gimmick thats how bad Goldberg vs Taker would be... 😂😂.
Unfortunately there was no way in my opinion to have Kane vs. Undertaker in this timeline. Kane was a critical part in making the Deadman comeback as I explained. Also as shown, I'd rather have Goldberg vs. Undertaker exist than Undertaker vs. Heidenrich. F**k that dude 🤣🤣🤣
@@ProWrestling.WhatIf the people who don't want Goldberg vs taker at their prime maybe needed that botch match they did 15yrs later in Saudi show at their old age. Because if taker vs Goldberg didn't happened at ruthless agression era than it would anyway happens at super showdown 2018. If Goldberg vs taker happened in 2004 than we didn't even got that super showdown terrible match at all since it happened due to Vince creating dream match. If dx faced bod during ra era aa era then we don't even had that terrible match too in their old age. Same goes to cena vs taker. Some matches needed to happen earlier than much later
8:48- Would the 3 be considered the handicap ones??? Both Big show and The Undertaker out weigh all 3 of them “alone”!!! Add maybe 2 or 3 more nobody’s and it might be almost even…. Or 1 no name and 1 big name!
Yeah…… one big thing you’re skipping over that would definitely have a effect on everything….. and that is “fan interest”! So when The Undertaker was the American Bad a$$ (ABS) I don’t remember ever hearing people crying about it, any less of fans cheering for him or people’s opinions about him being less!?! But since I started watching wrestling again I’ve heard a lot of it from many different sources! So if he stayed the ABA then yes…. There would be a decent pop when he came back (even though him being gone would make no sense in this story). But that would only last maybe a month… or 2! And if he was losing so often as you have him and he’s losing again some of the biggest POS like you have here, his fan base would dwindle fairly quickly!!! And once that happens a lot of those matches that you suggested would definitely NOT happen! Eventually the topic of “is The Undertaker past his due date?” and “should The Undertaker retire before he continues to thin out his win record again his loss record?”! And once that starts its all over! At that point, even if he turned back into “The Dead Man” there would be very little pop! And unfortunately that would also mean his first loss at WM would have been way sooner than it was (meaning, it wouldn’t of been as big of a deal as it was) and it would have been down hill from there!!! Now that is just one of many outcomes that could happen! And what would determine that would be a lot of the things involved including wins and losses and how much or little people actually care about that versus of him!!! And with what you set up just in the first year of your “what if” scenario, yeah….. it would go the way I just listed! Especially if you had him lose 2 matches in a row against someone as disliked as JBL!!! The “ONLY” time anyone actually liked that D bag was when he was apart of APA!!! And it definitely wasn’t because of him!!!
Undertaker took time off after Survivor Series 2003 not only because of nagging injury, but there was a death in the family (Was even brought up on Something To Wrestle With Bruce Prichard). The only true match in 2004 he lost in this timeline was the Booker T match. The Fatal 4 Way Match, he wasn't pinned. The SummerSlam match with JBL was a DQ win in the real timeline. No Mercy had interference to prevent him from winning.
5:50- Really?!? Out of those 4, RVD is the one you would choose to replace?!? I know for some odd reason you want Cena to go against The Undertaker for some odd reason (I’m guessing that your actual a Cena fan)…. So I guess he stays…. But between Booker, RVD and whoever the hell the last guy is (a nobody), you pick RVD!?! Ok…
Rene Dupree (the guy you claim is a nobody) was already feuding with Cena prior to this match, so he was able to get into this match. Also bruh, I'm not really a Cena fan, so don't say he's in here cause of that. He's the champ going into this 🤣🤣🤣
7:00- Wow, why are you doing this video if you can’t stand The Undertaker?!? If I (or any other) real Undertaker fan was making up a fake timeline, they would NOT have The Undertaker lose so much at all! Especially not against that POS JBL!!!
What do you mean I can't The Undertaker? I started watching WWE in 2002 and continued to watch because of this specific Undertaker. If I didn't like Undertaker, this episode wouldn't have been made. Plain and simple. Also JBL was the top heel of SmackDown after Brock left, so he was bound by WWE to keep that title for awhile.
If there’s 1 thing I learned from this video it is:
They are other ways to kill off a man then just burying him alive.
Wish we had gotten to see more ABA taker!!

The build up for inter promotion feuds start at the rumble. And Goldberg was already starting a feud with Lesnar.

Great a ministry of darkness reunion in 2004
You should do a video on what if RVD never left WWE
This is actually perfect and i had my own fantasy booking in a way but this is exciting 🔥🔥🔥
What if Jimmy Snuka defeated Undertaker at WrestleMania 7?
This would make a good TH-cam Shorts series at some point
Pretty much we’d miss out on 29 years of the Undertaker
I think AMB/Big Evil Taker could’ve continued on well into 2005/2006ish
he would have become face of SD till Cena and Batista
good point
What if the Curtain Call never happened?
What if Goldberg debuted in WWE in 2001 at the Royal Rumble?
That wouldn't of happened since WCW didn't get bought out until March of that year
What are the major events if the Rock stayed full time until his match with Cena and what if SummerSlam 97 Stone Cold Injury never happened and stayed on the roster til let’s say WM 25
Awesome TH-cam video today on your TH-cam channel today.
What if John cena and Batista didn’t switch shows in 2005

I would be all for The Biker Undertaker continuing!
Keep rollin rollin rollin 😎
You have abhorrent tastes.
Ok so how does the Undertaker beat Goldberg?
Probably Tombstone lol. Goldberg was leaving WWE after WrestleMania XX anyways, so taking the L from Undertaker makes sense.
What if Gene Snistky ended the Undertaker 's Streak at Wrestlemania 21
That would've been terrible
