Same, especially since Mania is Orlando since it was my first one. I believe he should’ve absolutely destroyed Roman Reigns and went 25-0 then retired his dead man character. Faced off 3 years later at Mania 36 with fans against AJ and won.
Personally, I think having either Sting or even Bray Wyatt break the streak would've been a better move. Brock Lesnar was already made a beast, and honestly, I didn't think he needed anymore proof that he was, it could've been saved for either Sting to better establish himself as a prominent wrestler in WWE and allow him to stay there for longer, or could've truly been a passing of the torch moment for Bray Wyatt to become the "new face of fear."
@@ProWrestling.WhatIf Bray Wyatt would've been terrible choice if his career would remain the same like it was in real timelines. The only person who makes sense to defeat taker was the one who looks unstoppable beast, top guy or who's getting passing torch from Undertaker. Brock still was more believable guy than anybody to beat him due to his character in wwe that time. Only person who can beat Undertaker in 2014 was John cena or possibly rock
It’s Vince McMahon’s WWE yes but I feel like they had Roman beat Taker with the assumption that the streak already being over would help fans accept the win over Taker
Taker valued the streak but also he was a company guy through and through so when Vince asked him to do the job he basically just said it's your show so okay. But in hindsight he did say if anyone was gonna break it he wanted it to be someone who it elevated like a bray Wyatt or a Roman reigns.
A couple of fun facts regarding the Streak: 1. Had Undertaker not lost to Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 30 and 33, respectively, he’d be 27-0. 2. If he hadn’t missed WrestleMania 10, 16 and 35 and still hadn’t ever lost like mentioned above, he’d be 30-0. Otherwise, had he lost the two times he did, but didn’t miss WM10, 16 and 35, he’d be 28-0. Just randomly decided to do a bit of quick math in my head.
Should've been 30-0. But personally the Undertaker conference was low and he was past his prime. I would've did 20-0. Undertaker always say it was a special moment when him, Triple H, and Shawn Michaels stood on the ramp. Undertaker has the picture above his gym. Plus, it was an end of era match.
Yeah……. I didn’t really disagree with anything you really said for the most part….. And I honestly believe (back then and now) that him losing to Brock to end the streak was literally on of the worst chosen!!! But also with that handicap match at the end….. I can’t see that happening at WM! Especially if the streak was still alive at that point!!! Either before or after!?! Mainly because if it happened at WM then it would be guaranteed that he wouldn’t lose!!! 100% no way! WWE knows how much they have to do to tiptoe around a mess they made until it starts to fade away (I would have said “WWE and fans”, but fans apparently have a very very VERY short memory!!! Almost comical!?! If it wasn’t for the fact that a lot of the stupid that’s going on right now, is only happening because of fans lack of memory)! And if they had The Undertaker lose his streak by not even losing it, that would be a large mess! And would take awhile for it to go away!!! But unfortunately, fans are still stuck in the stupid and WWE knows how short their memories are! So it could possibly happen….. but I still doubt it!

I personally believe he should've beat Brock and then retire at Wrestlemania 32. It's his home state with over a 100k in attendance. Maybe have his final opponent be John Cena.. if he's not injured in this timeline.
In this timeline, the list of injured stars is still in affect, so unfortunately Cena is out of the picture. However, I feel Undertaker wanted to face Cena and be his final match at 32, hense why he worked quite a bit in 2015. Almost like a retirement tour leading up to WrestleMania 32.
@ProWrestling.WhatIf Really? I didn't know that. Cena vs Taker with the streak intact and him being Undertaker's final soul would've been a perfect send off.
Undertaker never should've lost at Wrestlemania to both Brock Lesnar & Roman Reigns. Stupid Mr. McMahon. On my Dream Undertaker Wrestlemania Undefeated streak, If Undertaker didn't wrestle Shane McMahon, I'd have had Undertaker face The Rock in a Hell In a Cell Match - under Last Man Standing rules with Stone Cold Steve Austin as guest Referee. If he hadn't missed Wrestlemania 35, I'd have like to have seen him face Bobby Lashley. And then the Boneyard match with AJ Styles at Wrestlemania 36. I wish it was 30 - 0 at WM.
This is pretty cool. It was a terrible idea for Brock to beat the streak because he didn't need that push. If it were someone like Punk or Wyatt or Reigns, it would have made a lot more sense as they were up and coming stars, it would have meant something. With Brock though, it was a part timer beating another part timer. Worst of all, it was an awful match. It would have been a lot better if Taker was in with someone else that night who could help him look good in the ring as his body just couldn't do the things that it used to do. If it were me, this is how I'd book it: WM 30: Instead of Taker VS Brock and having Kane randomly teaming with the New Age Outlaws to take on The Shield, I'd have Taker VS Seth and Kane VS Dean. Taker beats Seth, Dean beats Kane. Summerslam 2014: Brothers Of Destruction VS The Shield (Dean and Seth with Roman at ringside). Shield win after Roman interferes. Survivor Series 2014: BOD, Goldust and Stardust VS The Shield and Big Show. BOD win. WM 31: Taker Vs Wyatt. Taker wins. WM 32: Taker VS Dean. Taker wins. Royal Rumble 2017: Taker enters at 30 to win the Rumble. Roman wins the Universal Championship. WM 33: Taker VS Roman - Streak VS Title Hell In A Cell Match. Roman wins. WM 34: Brothers Of Destruction VS Cesaro and Sheamus - WWE Raw Tag Team Championships - BOD win, then defend the titles at selected PPVs for the rest of the year. Royal Rumble 2019: Brothers Of Destruction VS The Revival - WWE Raw Tag Team Championships - The Revival win. WM 36: Taker VS AJ Styles - Boneyard Match - Taker wins. Survivor Series 2020 - Taker's 30th Anniversary. BOD, Edge and Jeff Hardy VS AJ Styles, The Revival and Randy Orton - BOD team win. WM 40: Taker VS AJ Styles in front of an audience for the first time. AJ wins.
