  • In this tutorial I'll be demonstrating how you can quickly resize an image with Procreate for the iPad.
This is somewhat confusing at first because the resize feature is bundled with the crop feature, and it's labeled as "resample" rather than resize.

Bless you. I love that so many things for procreate have a SUB 2min guide for how to do smth for exactly what you need, and no fluff. Thank you.

Thank you for the excellent video on resizing an image on Procreate for iPad. Please advise if this procedure will enable changing a photo from portrait to landscape and resizing to a particular photo frame size. Thank you

Hi Great clearly explained video. I have two questions though. First - I d like a small picture of myself to be inserted into the top of a statement about myself - typed on an A4 sized sheet of paper. - so how do I determine the new size of the picture? Second - I tried cutting the pixels in half for both measurements and then printed it out but it printed the photo out full size A4. Please can you help?

I'm new to printing art and am hoping to later down the line but realize that all of my canvas sizes are different or similar at least somewhat, is there a general rule of thumb or typical px/ppi to have your canvases set to fit some generic print sizes? Or would it be best to just print custom sizes to avoid any changes/alteration to the original piece?

I have procreate and did the same thing by changing the size of the image in the canvas, but for some reason when I set the new dimensions the blank canvas is still there but the image disappears unexpectedly, do you know how I can solve it it without the image disappearing?

Hi, is this process recommended for making collage?
I started using Procreate, I went to try to make some collages, but when manipulating each image, finding the ideal size for the job, I noticed that some of the images were losing quality.
I'm not sure if I need to adjust the canvas or the image itself or both.

Hello! I need help bad. I already drew 2 pictures, choosing the "screen size" canvas. I want to print them out to an 8x10 size. I have zero idea what to do or how to do it. Including where to export it to in order to take it somewhere to be printed...like Fed Ex, Kinko's, ect. Can you please help me? I am brand new to Procreate!

My art canvas is 1000px but when I change it to 300px or more then 1000px it becomes pixelated really badly. I did copy and paste to a different canvas (9in by 7in). What am I doing wrong?

Could you elaborate on that? I'm not sure I understand.

    • @ignaciorlimon1
      @ignaciorlimon1 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

@@Make_It_Mobile I think they meant they lose image quality when reducing an image, so the image becomes grainy after shrinking it.

@@ignaciorlimon1 I have this same problem when trying to make collage. I use multiple images, different sizes. The original image has a good quality, but when shrinking it looks terrible

    • @G.U1DoO

      @@aaaameeera Hi, how are U?
the image loses quality when I shrink it, it loses quality in pixels.
example, I have some images to create an illustration. if I need to change the original size, the original dimensions, the image loses all quality. Am I clear now?
