I'm disabled and bed bound. Thank you so much for your "what we are learning as a couple" videos. My caregiver husband and I have been so encouraged by them through the yrs! By God's Grace we are persevering with you!
I love how they finish each other's sentences! So lovely. And so true, we need mercy and we need to extend mercy. Wonderful tips and such a biblical attitude:)
What a couple ....so on fire for the Lord and loving each other in a special way.My husband's name is also Ken....and he is a great care giver.since Cancer in 2018 ,my body has went down fast. With the love of Jesus and my Ken I will make it.Amen
Oh God I love this couple!!!!!! He is so sweet and she looks that she loves him so much! I want to get old with my husband like that . May God bless you ❤️
I’m sure you’ve heard it many times, friend Joni and friend Ken, but I’ll say it anyway. This is exactly what my husband (hopefully listening with at least one ear) and I needed to hear this morning. What a blessing. And what a beautiful segue into asking forgiveness for my boneheaded behavior last night. Thank you, thank you, thank you God, for the gift of just ten minutes of head turning through this ministry. I’m so glad I saved my very first comment EVER on TH-cam to express that I resolve to respond to this gift by doing just what they spoke from the book of James! Lord, help me remain steadfast. Amen
Ken and Joni, thank you for your refreshing humility. You both are great blessings! When two mature christians can confess their sins before 7000 + viewers, it speaks mountains of volumes of what Christ wants to do in all of us. He continues to conform us to His image even to our last breath on this earth. Thank you Father, for your blessed son who is still molding us into HIs image!
You two are a blessing! I am caregiver for my 94 year old mother. I used to have a caregiver come in regularly to spell me. Like you, she is particularly vulnerable to Covid-19 so my husband and I are quarantining longer than perhaps others and it has been wearying. I have been trying to focus on our blessings. It could be so much worse than it is for us. My heart hurts for those who have more struggles. For example, we are retired and don’t have to go out to earn our living. So many have to take many more risks because of their life situations. Focusing on prayers for them can help alleviate my inclination to host a pity party for one. God bless and keep you both throughout this surreal time in our lives.
we are just the same couple I am blind with chronic pain in a wheelchair my husband is blind to when we feel lonely we sing together my husband play the piano by the grace of God it's almost been a year.
Dear Joni and Ken, thank you sooo much for practical and spiritual advice. I need this at this time as I too am married and with a disability. My spouse is my life partner and my caretaker.
" Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him." James 1:12✝️ Beautiful Scripture!! Thanks Joni and Ken for sharing
Love your beautiful example of marriage. Joni I first came across your beautiful voice in my 40's. I loved your singing and your most wonderful example of your acceptance of your accident and being confined to a wheelchair! I would weep with joy when you sang of Jesus one day saying to you "shall we dance?" I am now in my 70's and pray that one day I shall witness this event. God has blessed you with a wonderful husband and for this I praise and thank God. May the Father cover you both with His Merciful Love. Shalom from Australia. Maria
Thanks for sharing...we sometimes have leaders like you and Ken on a pedestal, never imagining that you get in the flesh like the rest of us. Thank you,Joni and Ken for reminding us that it's only in prayer and the Word can we grow in grace.
Joni, my mom has sent me your daily devotionals for a long time. I'm 50 now, but I'm blessed with parents, and my wife's family that are saved, faithful followers of Christ. I have bookmarked your site, and read your daily devotionals on my own now, because you've really impacted life for me in many ways. Thank you! And this video was great. But, I do have to say my wife and I don't drive each other crazy being together so much. My wife and I are best friends, and we love each other's company...we don't get "sick of" each other. We're very much introverts, too, so social distancing is a norm for us anyway. We aren't anti-social, we just don't hang out with others so much, and for me, even less as I'm in middle age now. And while I don't disagree with you on getting to know our neighbors...ah, well, we're not opposed to it, but neither do we feel a need to actively get to know our closest "neighbors" in this rural area we live in. However, we do take time to encourage who we get to know at what are now our favorite places to get the occasional eat-out (take-home mainly) and/or treat for us. We take time to talk with them, message some folks, and encourage. Some other great content here in your & Ken's video...awesome stuff. Thanks, Joni & Ken.
Ken and Joni, you are such a transparent couple. It is a blessing to listen to you and to learn new ways to bless others, during this time. Thank you for your transparency.
Thankful for your honesty and constant deflecting to Christ Jesus! Oh you two! Just love you so much. As my hubby and I wrestle with very similar “flavours” of perseverance and shortcomings. It’s only been 13 years for us, but with 3 little sons and relentless chronic sharp head & neck pain through every day & night, I can sure become driven by self pity and propelled by inward longings that are selfish and prideful! How glorious our hope in Jesus, and yes to memorizing God’s Word! Wow. Isn’t that a wonderful gift! Psalm 103 is written on my heart this last while so nice to proclaim Truth without needing to read if the pain is too nasty. And confessing our sins out loud to one another-Yes!. Reading & praying out loud together amen! My darling man is reading through Alcorn’s “Heaven” now and loving it-we loved your book “Heaven” too, Joni! Thank you for spurring us on, big brother & sister! The anchor holds fast! “Above earth’s lamentations...”
Oh Joni, I read your first book in the 1970s. I am so pleased that you are still with us and following through on what you asked for. I need to be aware of Christ within at all times, just like you, or very similar. I know too about the tired middle years of marriage. I love the way you tackle unpleasurable personal characteristics head on, and so deal with the real problems, not supposed ones. It makes you as instantly relevant now as then, but now with the decades' gifts under your skin. You get a rich welcome in heaven. You also get a rich welcome from me.
Hi Joni and Me. I love you're clips I enjoy the. .I'm having my 3rd spine surgery on July 29th I have been living with chronic pain for 6 months. I love you both. You make my bad days brighter. God Bless You Both.
Dear respected sister Joni and Ken God bless you abundantly to bring Glory to Jesus Christ of Nazareth to preach the gospel of love and compassion to bring Glory to Jesus Christ of Nazareth.. Pastor Joseph Victor Vara.. BAPTIST Church.. ARATLAKATTA-533016,. KAKINADA .. Andhra Pradesh.. India.. Hallelujah Hallelujah Amen
Ms. Joni, you are such a beautiful representation of Jesus and His love. I am so uplifted by your example of words and your race. Lovely to meet Mr. Tada too.
Amen! As missionaries in Italy, we are constantly telling the nationals here to discipline their lives as couples and to hold all trust in Christ Jesus.
Can't stop smiling, your both so adorable, I love love your realness with us. I now wonder what I have been missing all these years listening to you Joni and maybe your husband too if he is in your videos. I have to check out and see what else I can enjoy and learn. I do remember seeing your story when I was younger and you were a beautiful women but Joni you are gorgeous now and more so inside. Thank you both for sharing my heart is touched tonight .
May God pour out His richest blessings upon you both, Ken and Joni! It was a "God-cidence" that this video appeared right now in my TH-cam feed. I've been watching it with tears running down my face......my caregiver hubby and I can relate so well to what you are both expressing. Due to my medical conditions, I have to stay in iso most of the time, coming out only for doctors' appointments. This has been the case since the beginning of the pandemic! My hubby and I are just so depressed and emotionally "wrung-out" - we are unable to see our families due to the possibility of acquiring infections. We look to Jesus, our Saviour and Redeemer, to keep us safe! Thank you so much, Ken and Joni, for the advice and Godly wisdom expressed in this video. Bless you both.🙏❤️ It was no "coincidence" that this video appeared just now. Praise You, Jesus, for bringing this video to our attention. 🙏💕
Oh Joni she is wonderful and ken they are so inspringing I pray for both of them because I suffered with the COVID and I don’t know how I would of made it without the lord god you both are two beautiful
You guys are awesome! I love you Joni! I read your first book when I was 16 years old, and now I’m 55! I have a son who is 23 years old with a rare and very serious muscle disease. You have always been such an encouragement to me!! ❤️❤️
The two of you are so precious. My husband and I don’t have half these challenges and no where close like the two of you. You are an inspiration. Thank you for your sharing and sacrifices to help others.
Thank you soooo much Dearest Joni & Ken for your love for the Lord & each other!! Thank you for sharing your life & experiences with us!! I still have your autograph in my Bible that you signed long time back at New Life Church in Colorado Springs!! I Always share your testimony with our children in India!! We love you!! :) :)
God, bless them!! You tell us in your word to be content with what we are given, no complaining or grumbling...it is hard! I love their example of "Love!" True to what is real and not afraid to be vulnerable with each other. Just think, we can go at any moment...we must remember to persevere and do ALL that we can to Love, forgive each other, deny the enemy access to our hearts and mind. Remember the love that brought you together and remember to keep it together!!
All the best to you both and I´m glad to wish you a great future in the name of Christ together! I have also broken my neck in a divingaccident 1973 and before that I had read your books dear Joni!
I just happened upon this video but not really. I'm realizing God played it for me for a reason. It will very likely save my marriage. Thank you for all y'all do. Y'all are a beautiful couple & a sincerely true blessing from God. I love your honesty, both of you. Especially in this time of evil & great doubt, your honesty is another blessing you can believe is making a difference!
My God your marriage is an inspiration. I remember watching the movie about Joni's life and watching her documentary when seeing first your marriage - and how it has blossomed and brought so much fruit - i can see the love between you and God's hand in bringing you together and your union - God bless you today and always!!!
KEN , JONI IS THE NICEST KINDEST VIEW I HAVE EVER HEARD . SHE HAS TRAINED , LEARNING SCRIPTURE SO FAR THAT NO ONE COULD EVER COME CLOSE TO HOW SHE HAS LEARNED TO REFERENCE A SCRIPTURE IN ORDER TO KEEP GOING . I DO WHAT EVER I CAN TO KEEP GOING , BUT SHE HAS SUCH COMFORTING STORIES & RECITATIONS.....
What a treat and a joy to see Christ patterned and lifted up in the Tada’s marriage. I pray this love duplicates in the watchers and that we will all not merely be hearers, but doers of God’s precious word. Thank you for this godly wisdom and encouragement. May the Lord bless you!!!💝
LoL, you guys are so cute, how you finish each other's sentences and know what the other is going to say. Sweet. Yes, this isolation and quarantine has been hard on couples and families who maybe aren't used to spending long periods of time together with more limited access of stuff to do together as well. But your advice is given with heart and empathy, and is spot on. You didn't preach it either. You spoke about all the lessons you're learning in first person, which makes the pill easier to swallow. Bless you! And keep it up! Joni, I have followed your journey since your first book, after the "accident" came out. I thought, if God can get someone through THAT, He can get ME through ANYTHING!! And He has proven Himself faithful all through the years. Thank you for this sweet video :) Sharing!
JONI and KEN... This is the best piece og advice, SPECIALY for couples, THAT I have heard of these days... AND THEY ARE SO GOOD, BECAUSE THEY'RE BORN OUT OF YOUR OWN EXPERIENCE... THANK YOU for sharing it so lovingly...even though I'm single and LIVE alone, THIS SPOKE TO ME.... REMAIN BLESSED!
Thank you. Those encouragements are good for single seniors as well. I've been disturbed by celebrities filing for divorce because they couldn't take the quarantine well. They obviously don't love and serve the Lord.
Thank you for your down to realty take on your life in these surreal times! Glad to see you're making it with God's power and grace and thanks for the good tips which work with a lot of relationships! Joni, you are such an inspiration to me (I know you've heard this many a time!) and, of course, you wouldn't be that inspirational without Ken and God! God bless you both!! I live in beautiful British Columbia!
Thank you so much!! I have endometriosis and I've been bed- bound for the last 4-5 months from the pain... I got married 3 months ago!! Thank you for this hope and challenging!
I just found you both. I thought the things I am going through are tough. I was burned over 15 % of my body. Growing up scared as a child, kids can be very cruel. The both of you help us all feel blessed and humble. Through God gives us strength to face all trials. You both are such a light of Jesus. Thank you both.
This video is so peace-full. Thank you both for your transparency & willingness to share the things you have learned during this difficult season as a couple. As a full time caregiver myself, it helps :)
We don’t stay home. Out almost every day. It’s hard to admit we’re wrong. Yes, depression. We love each other so much though. Forty five years of marriage.
Just saw this as our restricted lives go into the second year. My husband and I have learned so much. These early lessons Joni and Ken share are also what the Holy Spirit has helped stabilise our life with and make our marriage richer than ever. It was precious to be reminded this morning. Pressing on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of us ❤️❤️🙏 Thank you 😊
What a wonderful blessing to hear you two pour out such amazing drops and tidbits of wisdom. I am not married and have never been married but I still can appreciate all the practical and precious things you shared today about strengthening your marriage in these crazy times. Thank you Ken and Joni.
Watched and Listened to this podcast, I must say this is just what I needed to pick me up. I will have my husband watch and listen also. I believe you have saved many marriages, if people don't just watch, they listen. You and Ken are amazing people and we who follow you know how much you loved your husband and how he loves you. Thank you for inspiring all who listen
I love you Joni. I still read secret strength when I need reminding where my strength is. You are an encouragement to me. ❤ Thank you both for sharing. God bless you.
You guys are amazing, such an inspiration to all of us!! I really needed to hear this since Im a caregiver. Gods blessings to you both and Happy Holidays to ya!!!
Joni and Ken, Thank you for this message. I teared up a bit because I just can’t wait to meet you both in Heaven. You both are such beautiful wonderful Christian examples. I don’t have anyone in my family with disabilities but I have a very difficult marriage. Your words and testimony have given me strength and encouragement today. Thank you! I’m going to hold onto the verse James 1:12 that Ken quoted. I needed this encouragement so much! I’ve been so angry lately trying to fight for a marriage I don’t even want to be in because God hates divorce and I don’t want to disobey God. Healing and Unity is seeming to take VERY VERY long. Thank you for your beautifully honest message on your own marriage. You are touching lives beyond what you know. Thank you! See you in Heaven one day 😁 James 1:12 Hebrews 12:1
You are such a beautiful couple. The pandemic did bring a lot of 'ugly' to the surface in my family too. The cracks and flaws were revealed in me personally, in relationships and priorities that should be changed.
Lovely advice. Thanks for sharing; your honesty is appreciated. The Lord bless you and the wonderful witness that your marriage is. ‘I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.’ Philippians 4:13 (KJV)
Ken and Joni are the most beautiful example of perseverance. Thank You, Lord, for their example.
Lord Jesus Christ thank you so much for your people like Joni & Ken. They are splashes of His grace shown to so many of us.
Such beautiful people and part of their beauty is their honesty about themselves, which makes them 'accessible'.
I'm disabled and bed bound. Thank you so much for your "what we are learning as a couple" videos. My caregiver husband and I have been so encouraged by them through the yrs! By God's Grace we are persevering with you!
Well done you both...for running the race and persevering...my heart just lit up when i read your reply.
Bless you.
I read Joni’s book when I was a teenager and it changed my life. I can’t wait to hug her in heaven!
Trish Ford, Yes me too🤗Hugs Joni, Ken & Friends🙏🏼❣
Same!!!
We love you and Ken too. My husband and I are “running the race set before us” for 49 years...thanks be to Jesus. Blessings dear friends.
Ken & Joni absolutely have to be God's 2 CHOICEST servants in the whole world!!

What an amazing encouraging couple. I know that now she has covid and in the fire. Let’s pray!
The 23rd Psalm, surely goodness and.mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the House of the Lord forever 🙏
I love seeing Jesus in each of you - thank you for such sweetness and joy!
Awww. You guys are such a cute couple. You have encouraged me today. I really needed that. God bless y'all. (from North Carolina)

Great advice. This has been a trying year. The devil is looking for a way to trip us up. Thank you!

Precious couple! What a dear man your husband is!
Thank you so much!! I have endometriosis and I've been bed- bound for the last 4-5 months from the pain... I got married 3 months ago!! Thank you for this hope and challenging!
What a precious couple! I appreciate your transparency, and your love for each other and the Lord!!!
I am so humbled when I hear their message. They have so much to give and I am grateful when something is posted on U tube.
Same with my husband and I. We grew closer with Christ by our side.⭐️🌟
So glad to hear your suggestions. Ephesians can be prayed over each other. We are sinners…apologize.
You two are so precious in the Lord. Thank you.
We don’t stay home. Out almost every day. It’s hard to admit we’re wrong. Yes, depression. We love each other so much though. Forty five years of marriage.
Thank you, Joni & Ken! Thank you for being transparent and real. It encourages me!
Just saw this as our restricted lives go into the second year. My husband and I have learned so much. These early lessons Joni and Ken share are also what the Holy Spirit has helped stabilise our life with and make our marriage richer than ever. It was precious to be reminded this morning. Pressing on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of us ❤️❤️🙏 Thank you 😊
I love this couple. They are so real, encouraging and inspiring. Thank you so much x
Thanks from Elderslie SW Sydney Australia, for God’s faithfulness and your perseverance which is a very real demonstration of your faith in Jesus
Joni you and your husband.are so refreshing
Such great advices for every marriage! Not just for quarantine either but for every day.
So sweet and encouraging! Marriage advice during such trying times is much needed. Thank you!
I love you Joni. I still read secret strength when I need reminding where my strength is. You are an encouragement to me. ❤
Thank you both for sharing. God bless you.
There should be a 'Love ' button, you Both are amazing, and Real. God Bless you, finishing each other's sentences.
Wow! You two are such a blessing. I am so thankful that you have persevered to show us what true love really looks like.
You guys are amazing, such an inspiration to all of us!! I really needed to hear this since Im a caregiver. Gods blessings to you both and Happy Holidays to ya!!!
We love reading the Bible in a yr too. You guys are such a blessing!
I have followed you for decades and love to hear the two of you talk together! Thank you for this. I’ll share with my daughter and your husband!
You two are wonderful. If God had physical hands He would be clapping them at how you both point Him to others.
Joni and Ken,
Thank you for this message.
Thank you!
See you in Heaven one day 😁
James 1:12
Hebrews 12:1
You are such a beautiful couple. The pandemic did bring a lot of 'ugly' to the surface in my family too. The cracks and flaws were revealed in me personally, in relationships and priorities that should be changed.
Lovely advice. Thanks for sharing; your honesty is appreciated.
The Lord bless you and the wonderful witness that your marriage is.
‘I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.’ Philippians 4:13 (KJV)
You both.are so encouraging and uplifting. May God continue to bless you. You have brought sunshine into my heart and so many others!
The two of you are so dear.
Thank you Ken and Joni for sharing these practical truths for marriage. Such a good word! ❣️
