I guess being a Christian isn't very politically correct now days. But I don't care. I've never been a politically correct person. But I've always been a Christian, have always walked with God, and still do. And PROUD OF IT!

We of course don’t want to continue sinning,.....having turned away from our former sinful lifestyle,.....but we all slip every day.....usually without being aware of having sinned. Have you ever worried about “tomorrow”? Have you ever gossiped? Have you ever felt anxious? We continue to fail God every day. So we are to tell God we’re sorry....whenever we slip & sin. @@esthermiller2713 When people say they are proud to be a Christian they're actually meaning they are not ashamed of the Gospel. When the Bible talks about not being proud the writer inspired by God is meaning not to be haughty. Another meaning is to not take credit when the credit and glory go to God and Jesus. We could never atone for our sons but Jesus came and took it upon himself to settle that for us. There is a big difference in the same word being used in different applications in the Scriptures. A good Bible Dictionary is an excellent investment in your faith walk. Secondly it is a definite possibility the Sister you are publicly chastising (you broke a commandment by doing so) may have at a very young age ask Jesus into her heart, so yes that would be nearly "always" as far as she can remember back. "Judge not lest he be judged", saith Jesus the Messiah. The other that comes to my mind is "Love your neighbor as yourself". Who is your neighbor? Every living human being, be kind and loving to yourself and to others. :)

it's about to get real , I can’t remember the name of it, but she has written a second book about how she & Ken met, & how God has blessed them mightily in their marriage. I read it years ago. I highly recommend it. 😍 🇨🇦

My daughter has been deaf since birth, but now after about 38 years is attending church and ministering to help put bulletins together, greeter at door, even teaching other lady ushers , sign language and misses all that now that Covid-19 is flying around,,,,Sarah teaching herself knitting, artistry , all kinds of stuff, thank you Joni

I have just been on a camp for people with disabilities. At this camp there was a lady who was blind, a man who was deaf, and a man who was lame, but the Holy Spirit showed me that she could see The Way, the deaf man head the Word and the lame man could live the Life. It is our spiritual ability that counts in the Lord's kingdom.
When we see Jesus it will be worth to hold on and not give up. "Welcome Home"

I learned about Joni when I was still a teenager in the youth choir in Deeper Life Bible Church, PHC. It was a wonderful retreat session and we got to learn about how one person could do so much for the kingdom with such great physical challenges. Not only did she do God’s work, but she also shone in her own rights as an artist with a special skill. She also has an amazing voice as I’ve seen here. 🎉

Beautiful Joni ! My own sister also named Joni was stricken with MS. She also maintained a beautiful courageous spirit. She passed at 58 and is with Jesus free at last and understands why. Blessings to you beautiful Joni Erickson Tada. You have blessed so many !

BLACK.LIKE. ME , yes indeed. She’s not only been blessed musically, but has also been blessed as an accomplished artist....with her TEETH!! She has been known to admit that her paralysis has proven to be an amazing thrilling blessing for Joni & her husband Ken. God is continually being glorified through Joni’s severe restrictions! God allows our suffering for His glory. I’ve been experiencing that truth presently in my own life. My own suffering has greatly strengthened my faith! Because I trust God......no matter how bad it gets......I know NO FEAR! To be worried is telling God we don’t trust Him. I myself cannot think of one reason why I shouldn’t trust God! God is LOVE! I purposely focus on the constant, second by second, blessings.....& ignore the negatives....which do not come from God. ❤️ 🇨🇦 By the way, I am very happy to know that you’re my sister!! ❤️

Joni Eareckson Tada and her faithful husband Ken Tada have always been one of my greatest inspirations. Even when my life was in the darkest valleys their faith in God used kept me from giving up. Their walk with our prescious Lord Jesus Christ gave me the strength to continue to "Wait upon the Lord", as the Bible says. I would not be here today if it were not for God using them in my lifes journey.

My heart has been touched in a special way. My husband was in an accident in July 2014 all of the flesh was burned off both of his feet. We had to stop our music ministry while he has been healing. His healing has been slow because he has type 2 diabetes that makes his wounds heal slow. It is now November 2016 he still can't walk. I pray this video will encourage him to start singing again. He has felt alone and forgotten he needs to know there are Christians that do care and will pray for him. If Joni Eareckson's testimony doesn't touch him I don't know what will. God Bless.

I pray your husband is now ministring with you. When my husband of 23 years, who I had ministered in singing groups and, when we had children, we pastored four church in different cities, decided he was homosexual, I fell apart. I did not sing much and now my beautiful children, three girls who sing like angels, do not sing much. I have allowed satan to destroy that ministry. At 67 years old I am rising up, with the Lord's help, starting a ministry soon and singing my heart out. I pray he will also...our world needs his, or all of your, ministry. I ask the Lord to speak to him and let him know he is whole in the name of Jesus! God bless you all!

Yes, I hold great admiration for Joni. For the way she lets God lead her. I know it didn't come easy!! I suffer, too, from Lupus, severely. For the past 35 yrs. God is good!!! It has paralyzed my GI Tract. I am 61 now and the doctors have said many times there is no medical reason for me to be alive, I tell them it is God's grace.

I would like the copyright for Farther Along. I wrote that song in Flemish on August 9, 1977. The occasion was separation from my first husband Ivan Parker who was ordered by the court to live with a parent his senior year in high school. The only parent that would take him was his adoptive mother, Minnie Parker, in North Carolina. So Ivan left Kansas City and went to North Carolina. The verse was written about Ivan's biological father, Richard Castanza , who had passed away the previous summer (July 5, 1976).

HI, GOD BLESS YOU I feel the same way. 5 years ago my back, hips and legs just stopped working. I've been in this room sitting in this chair. I can't get up , my husband is in bad health just had heart surgery. I keep thinking I must have done something really bad to deserve this , but at 68 years old I truly think it would be so much easier to just go on .

I first heard "Farther Along" when I bought an Elvis Presley album in the 1960s. The day he died, I must have played it 20 times. Wonderful song of comfort.
I am so grateful to have come to the knowledge of Jesus' sacrifice for my sins. I didn't have the blessing of growing up with Christian music. I love to hear the music and tell the story. I know that God is in charge, and I know He desires for all of His creation to come to Him. I can't sing, but I can sure listen. Thank You Lord for beautiful Christian music.

And the sabbath day of rest. Since God never changes please consider the truth of sabbath worship is Saturday not sun day. I remember my mother listening to this woman on the radio and i started listen with my mother to her as she would speak on her hour radio show. Bring back memories hearing her voice again all these yrs later.
Mrs. Tada inspires me so much. What an amazing example to all! Praise Jesus for His grace that I do not deserve! One day I will get to thank Him face to face!
