  • The 10-minute Tent Talks film is narrated by Susan Blake, state park interpreter I, and Estrella Bibbey, park volunteer and naturalist. The two narrators convey their mesmerizing and intimate accounts of living in and near the park for decades prior to the CZU Lightning Complex Fire, the experiences of camping within the park, and their roles as docent and interpreter. In turn they share their experiences about the days the firestorm moved through the park and surrounding areas; their personal accounts of evacuation, and the aftermath of longing and loss; and finally, tales of recuperation and resilience.
The visuals for this film include the temporary sculpted tent encampments, situated in varying locales along the Redwood Loop Trail.
