I met Auden at the 2024 Ottawa Open. Great Guy, great sparring partner, very strong. I think at 90kg, he'd be one of the top guys in Canada. Who knows the level he'll reach in the next few years.
Something to consider when picking opponents is people root for the underdog. So if Auden doesn't pull someone he has a good chance he will lose. It can be hard to get behind him. Comebacks and rivals is what I really enjoy watching. The back and fourth between Devon and MMT made for a lot of excitement. The losses to Denis, John, Levan, Kamil, Marcio, Tazar, Travis, Genadi all made Devon better and didn't take anything from his image. I think protecting him from Mindaugas is a mistake. Because if Auden loses it can just create a great story for later when he can defeat him and display his level of improvement and if he beats him now that would be impressive as well.
Auden we Indians would actually love to see you against Abhaas. The hurdle here is that Abhaas is a player under Pro panja league, which restricts him from going anywhere at will and pull anyone. So, the only way to have a match with him is to contact the Pro Panja League.
@devons_stem_cells if it's actually 9 full hours of time under tension, it must be extremely low intensity...it's probably 9hrs blocked off, but lots of rest between efforts if the intensity is higher...I would guess it's mostly he treats the training like a 8am-5pm job where he is lifting and eating and resting plenty during that 9hr duration, so not literally 9hrs of lifting, but he is in "training mode" a full work day
4:44 pro panja not want to send Abhas because he don’t have super matches experience and he is pro panja league S2 after that he is ready that’s why pro panja offers a match with Yuvraj ( actually no 2 in India) and Auden is scared because Yuvraj is not hooker with less experience he is too good top roller with super match experience 🇮🇳
Funny thing is Bowen is taking matches he knows he can lose, while Auden is dodging Bowen because his dad is carefully cherrypicking fights for him that Auden can win
The Larratts are "damned if you do, damned if you don't" scenario: if they give Auden a match that he wins, then people will say "he is being given easy wins to pad his record," but if Auden loses, then people will say "he didn't deserve that match, he was only given that because of his last name." So, rather than losing to big names that he doesn't deserve, he will slowly climb the ladder with "easy wins" until perhaps he is getting big wins over big names...we shall see! Maybe these "easy wins" against "smaller names" wouldn't seem so silly if they didn't have Auden pulling at KotT "big events," but if the audience is there for Auden, then why not the big stage?
Same as for bodybuilding and powerlifting, also armwrestlers need rest to grow.He trains 9 hours a day, thats the reason he always lose against stronger guys.If you're always sore you can't bring your best
@@Armbender1085 I said he is playing with 50 and actually did 61kg recently. Auden has done something 49kg on video this far. And Greg has more experience, he travels and wins competitions after competitions. Greg Yeo is not a bad armwrestler. Just saying.
