I'm seriously excited about this review. Absolutely ecstatic. Why ? I have Dali from about 20 years ago and run them with a NAD integrated amp a couple of years newer. I new i had the right combination.
Excellent presentation from Don. Spoken with authority and knowledge. Also enjoyed the way you interacted with David. One of the better videos from the Audio Advice series. Well done.
Hi Gene, you are the only person who can help with this, I recently got a pair of Polk Reserve R700 towers, I tested both with a 9-volt battery and it looks like the woofers are wired out of phase, I contacted Polk via email and they told me the R700 uses a second order cross over, will I have a problem during Audyssey setup of the speakers? I'm using the Denon AVR X-4700H.
What people here in the USA don't know is Fischer & Fischer Audio is King of Speakers and now they are in the USA and people here will find out how good they really are for a lot less money ! 😉😊🤫🤫
I was wondering why somebody didnt combine a suitable dome and ribbon twerter.Domes excel where ribbons falter and vice versa.I am pleased to see Dali do it in their Kore and Epikore speakers.Am excited to hear them.
Cool video, love audio shows for experiences like this. Surprised they weren’t running M66/M23 combo? However impressive the M33 still rocking. Y’all coming to CAF? Little bit of a trip for you but the spirit and atmosphere is great.
Ill buy the monolith and hotrod it. Looks very similar. Im sure you guys love hearing that, but as soon as i saw those that was the1st thing i thought of. Blame parts express and free crossover programs etc. Beautiful speakers though.
Annoying that anyone would want to hear a demo of audio products over TH-cam through their phone or desktop speakers and actually think they are hearing something representative of what we heard at the show.
@@Audioholics I’ve heard many speakers demoed on TH-cam through my headphones and enjoyed it very much. Obviously, not a super accurate representation of the speakers true sound but then again, it most certainly does get you most of the way there in determining the quality of one speaker over another. Never appreciate it being misrepresented in the title of the video, having to waste my time listening to the entire video only to find out you didn’t actually demo the speaker at all. I especially don’t appreciate your sarcasm either. My time is valuable and I didn’t care that you wasted it needlessly, all because you intentionally misrepresented what was contained within the video all to get people to click on it. Find it totally classless that you called me out on it when it was you who were being unscrupulous all in the name of getting clicks on your video. You could have just as easily said “a chat” or “discussion” and then I would have decided whether or not to invest my time in watching the video or not. You’ve got some gall bro
@brianesbaugh6897 it isn't accurate at all, it's delusional. If you can't understand why, than that's on you. Nobody asked you to watch this video or any video on this channel. There are plenty of youtubers out there that will give you a "demo" experience. We will NEVER be one of them unless you attend a live event that we host.
@@Audioholics wow, classy. Nothing like being a moron on your own channel. And yes, I can clearly tell the difference between speakers, even listening through my headphones on TH-cam and I happen to really enjoy the experience. How rude and arrogant of you to suggest to me what I find valuable on TH-cam. If your raisin d’être on TH-cam is to accumulate listeners and subscribers, which it clearly should be, I can’t understand for the life of me, why you’d choose to insult a potential subscriber. Not very bright bro🤦🏻 But I’m sure you’ll have something smart ass to say back to me even though I’ve articulated my point well

@@jamesproudlove1527 so in other words the question you should have asked "why would I (@jamesproudlove1527) pay US$60,000 for a pair of speakers? 60k, not bad. i think it's a good price i will buy 17 sets of these.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 nailer it. $60k insane. Even if I won the lottery, just stupid audio cost that. You can get awesome speakers for $5k
At this price point they better come with a 'front' door and rear exit as well, lips too!! 🤣
@@robwr737 its insane for the likes of a wrist watch. not necessarily for audio, you get what you pay for here

fantastic video guys !
Sorry! but I need to correct you here that SMC Stands for SOFT MAGNETIC COMPOUND not Small magnetic compound.
good point !

where was the demo? in the description for this video you say a $60K speaker is more affordable than a $11K speaker... wot?
Actually, SMC is an abbreviation for SOFT Magnetic Compund - not small. Mindblowing speakers, by the way. I've heard them play 'live'.
Hey Gene, I hope they come supplied with $20000 Nordost cables?!🤣🤣
It is a boatload of money.
Sounds like a boat load of money because it is. 😂
I’m sure they’re great sounding speakers but for $60k I’d like something that looked a little more extravagant.
Nice
These sounded great in Munich! Going to be killer once this tech trickles down to their more affordable models.
