I actually had an opportunity to "meet " him at a restaurant. He was finishing eating and i was in line. As he noticed i recognized him, he says, "a picture would last longer" i replied, "i'm not going to interrupt your meal" .
He saluted approvingly and i continued on.

My dad actually met him in an empty pub, my dad bought him and his wife a drink and wished them trying to hide his tears since he is his hero and wanted to be am archeologist because of him. My dad said harrision then initiated the conversation and they worth both such humble lovely people, he's one of the good legitimate actors left

Harrison Ford seems like the kind of guy who you’d meet sitting in a lounge chair in front of a fire in a snowed in bed and breakfast puffing a cigar and sipping a whiskey while reading a Jack London novel. That’s not the kind of guy who enjoys celebrity, that’s the guy who would hang out in an empty bar with a random stranger and have a good time.
Props to the camera guys on that slow zoom between Harrison and Jordan. Comedy timing was flowing well in that studio.

Just to clarify when Conan went back stage to say hi to Harrison, it was his “stunt guy” that punched Conan in the face, NOT Harrison
And that was not Conan that got punched. They just tied a conan mask to his face and sent him to harrison which is actually just a stunt guy.

I know that Harrison Ford has a reputation of being surly, but I waited on him a bunch of times while he was filming some movie in Philly. He couldn't have been nicer. He just seems quiet and reserved.

It just goes to show how different Harrison's acting life is compared to others. He was a man, had kids of his own, by the time he became a household name. He had done real work, and had known the struggle longer than most. His life is a great story because he didn't stick with it. He hung it up and became a carpenter and was pulled back into it. He still seems like that carpenter that's being pulled into these jobs.
