Hi Victoria and Craig! We just learned from a mutual friend back in North Florida (on campus) that you had a TH-cam channel! We are up to your boarder crossing into Mexico and are instant fans!!!!! You two are such an inspiration to everyone "living to work" instead of "working to LIVE." Keep living life BIG!!! -MIKE and Joanie Dunn
Ahh heyyyy Mike and Joanie!! Hope y’all are doing well 😄 And thank you so much!! It’s honestly so crazy to think back on life several years ago, I never would have imagined we’d be doing this!
running into "road construction" and random inspection stations is stressful enough in the states .now throw in a language barrier and yalls blood pressure doesn't go up at all -your an inspiration
You guys have loads of fun and be safe. Every time you sped up the vid of you driving around those mountains, my anxiety went through the roof, as if I were in the truck with you. 😂🤣😂🤣 That was a lil dicey! 🤣😂🤣
Lol it felt pretty nerve wracking when we were doing it too! Some of those drop offs were pretty crazy and I keep thinking about how we have to go back on the other side (closer to the edge 😬)
@@wildrvlife we just got back from a trip in the Smoky Mountains so I feel you on the drop offs as well. However it was a great trip. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your trip.
Hello! I just discovered your channel today. You two do such a great job sharing your experiences and providing really great insights. Love your sweet dogs as well! Safe travels!
They told me with my slide out- that you have to go all out or all in. The motor doesn’t like it if you stop at all part way ,it jams up . I miss the old heavy ones. Good to have them out when you can though, right ? Great to see young couples out making journeys and memories together. Happy travels ❤. New subscriber
Hi guys... Ya'll make the cutest couple... I'm sure you have your camper level before you open your slides ...correct... That is a very pretty spot that you guys are in... Keep the videos coming and please stay safe...J&A
Yes! We do always level before putting the slides out, they are finicky enough even when level, don’t want to mess them up more lol. Thank you so much for coming along!
Thank you for showing your trip there. Thinking of going there but nerves of course, hear so many scary things. Keep up the video's. Your spot looks amazing. 😎
Ya ,I wouldn't come back to.the U.S. for a while lol. The West is getting hammered with rain and snow weekly. Such a fun journey. Show us the parks you go to, curious if they are big rig friendly, thanks.
since you are in Mexico Maby large rv friendly meant they would not shoot at you LOL. really great views looks a little greener the father south you go it looks like .
The big hill (mountain?) passes are eye opening. Don't be surprised to have a bus or semi coming right at you in your lane around blind corners. Thankfully my wife slept through our scary close calls.
@@wildrvlife Forgot to mention, always be ready for horses, cow, donkeys, & dogs to be in the roadway especially if you end up having to drive at night.
Great video. I’m planning on taking a trip down to La Paz with my toy hauler, which is about the same size. Can you tell me what the situation is like with low sulfur diesel in Mexico? Is it hard to find? I have a 2023 Ford Tremor with 6.7 high output diesel and don’t know what to expect. Did you look for low sulfur or just used whatever you found?
Thanks for sharing glad yall made it safe! Wow, the roads as you said were narrow! How was the wind on the drive? I would of been hoping for calm and peaceful! Your site looks killer! Craig had the Cummins rolling and got a money spot! Any tips for keeping the dog's from tracking a ton of sand the rig?
The wind wasn’t bad when we were driving thank goodness! That would have added a whole other layer of anxiety 😅 and no tips on the dogs. We just live in a sandbox now 😂🤣
Great drive, but you didn't show the bad road and I was looking forward to it, or was it supposed to be that longer detour? It didn't look too bad. Have fun at that great location on the sea side.
The detour and the curvy roads on the Cuesta Del Inferno were probably the worst of this drive! And every time a semi truck drove by because it felt like they nearly hit us each time 😬 and thank you!
Have u guys had any issues finding ultra low sulfur diesel? Is ur truck deleted? I have a 2021 Ram diesel and i really want to take a trip down the penninsula but im scared to mess up all the emmissions parts on my truck 😪
I was also worried about it and asked if it was low sulfer every time when I would fill up, but they always looked at me confused. Now, after a bit more research I don't worry about it as much and just try to go to the nicer gas stations.
@@wildrvlife gotcha. Thanks for your reply..... if u dont mind keep me on the loop if u find any more info on this..... i've read that even if u do end up accidently using diesel with more sulfer than disired, as long as the engine runs with some load on it e.g. towing ... it would burn thru it without damage but i dont know how true that is 🙂.... anyways, great video series! Thanks for sharing!
Hey guys, just be careful I don’t think it’s a good idea to take a fifth wheel or motorhome to Mexico‘s because like you guys say the roads that are bad I am from Mexico but I came in 1985 when I was 16 years old but we used to go to Sam Felipe for years at the Fourth of July for one week, but we always stay in the condominiums the name of the condominiums it’s Sandollar you probably see it
Yo lmmfao, "THEY PAY" LOL that actually happened to me here in the USA I payed for a truckers food @ a truck stop.. they made it right but he got his food & I payed for his & mine lol
we love it! I mean, the amount of hair we deal with in a tiny space is.....a lot. 🤣 but overall, it's really nice to never have to board the dogs, etc. One of them, Maverick, gets really bad separation anxiety when we leave him places so it works much better this way.
"You can hit the RV, but NOT the truck" - Very underrated quote 😅
Lol 🤣 priorities, right? 😂

You guys have way more guts than I do going into Mexico! We were actually in some pretty rough areas in Albuquerque NM last year!
We’ve definitely been on some roads in the US that were in much worse condition than these! But these do seem to be narrowest overall 😅
Thank you for showing your trip there. Thinking of going there but nerves of course, hear so many scary things. Keep up the video's. Your spot looks amazing. 😎
We’ll keep ‘em coming! Hopefully will be able to paint a realistic picture of what it’s like down here, at least from our perspective 😄

Yeahhh I was seeing pictures and videos of all the snow! So crazy! Definitely glad to be down here 😆

Lol! I just think that we are taking “big rig” to a whole new level down here 😆

We will, thank you so much!
Sorry I didn't wait long enough to here the prices. Thanks you

Thanks for watching! And it’s working like a charm! So thankful for it down here
After crossing back into the states get new Filters.
Every time I see your spare tire I can’t imagine that it doesn’t drag sometimes. Have you had any issues with it?
Lol it does drag sometimes 😅 we want to move it, but just haven’t rigged something up to mount it elsewhere yet
13:40 detours are scary - for real. Not knowing what you are driving towards
Have fun Be safe
Thank you so much!
Y’A do Have Mexican Insurance for Trk & Travel Trailer
What was that you put in the coffee before the honey
It was carmel flavoring. Can't say it's my favorite, but it is a nice change sometimes.
Could you tell us the prices of the different RV parks
There should be an app to help translate speech! The Highway to Hell had to be nerve racking! Stay safe. We don’t have anything happen to you guys!!!
Yes! Weve definitely been trying to make good use of the Google translate app (when we can get it out fast enough to use 😅)
Good content did you have to make a reservation for the RV park at San Felipe or Mario’s restaurant?
No, we haven’t made a single reservation since coming to Mexico and haven’t been turned away yet 🤞🏼

I don’t think so, but it is funny how many people are down here right now! I guess it’s just the place to be 😆
Quartzite has low temperatures and it surprised more than a few. Possibly those you see decided to go further South
What's the temperature there?
Im ready to hook up and blast out of Colorado. been a long, cold winter here, and im ready for some warm weather
Depends on how far south you travel on the peninsula but usually highs in the 70s…so…perfect weather! 😆 I don’t blame you!
