Birth Story | 4th C Section | Recovery

Welcome back and thanks for clicking through to this video. I have finally got round to sharing my birth story with my youngest Son, Theodore. I am very grateful to have been blessed with 4 children and my biggest advice after ANY birth, REST! Do ask if you have any questions, I can only answer based on my own experience (I am not a medical professional nor can provide medical advice) but if my experience can support answering then I am happy to.

Awww you and darling Theo! He’s so beautiful. Your c section videos are such a massive help and when I had our third baby last year (my 3rd c section) you really helped me stay calm and positive. I hope you are able to rest and restore your energy, I know it’s not easy when you have little ones. Your advice is so on point about listening to your body and resting, I totally get the guilt that takes over at times. It’s so hard to get things in balance. You are absolutely amazing.

I’m sooooo glad it’s helpful, exactly why I share and that’s my goal, to hopefully help whoever is watching somewhere! And yes to the guilt, horrible isn’t it! We just can’t shake it but certainly trying to let myself rest a little bit more (if I can lol)

Congratulations, he's adorable as are your other children. I've never had a C-Section before when I had my children but with my 4th I never rested as I should have done mainly because of the same reasons as you! And I bled for longer (2 1/2) months instead of the 2-3 weeks that I did previously. We as mummy's think we can do it all and the guilt when there's other children involved is crazy...we're all guilty! Anyway, enjoy and thanks for sharing 😘

Totally - it’s so hard isn’t it! Thanks for watching and sharing too! Certainly thing not testing makes any recovery regardless of birth much much longer but it’s so hard isn’t it! X

Congratulations 🥳 when did the schedule your 4th C-section? My doctor scheduled my 4th 3 day from my original due date and I'm scared I may go into labor before then and have complications.

I didnt get my date until closer but its normally around 39 weeks xx

Thanks for sharing. If you don’t mind, may I ask how old were you when you had 4th? I just had my 3rd c section few months ago but i also just turned 40. I don’t think I should risk with 4th :)

Hey, I think it was just over an hour in the end but I had a few complications, my others were more straight forward and super quick under an hour x

but that's how it is here in the Philippines, when CS is needed it's 3x, 4 is no longer possible.. but from what I've seen it's possible

Where do they do the incision for the 4th I was told it’s horizontally 😱 is that false.

All of mine are horizontal? do you mean down the belly top to bottom? Mine all go from side to side (left side to right side) if that makes sense x
