I would have felt the same Dawn! I can not handle spicy or tart food. The other day I tried a vinegar based pulled pork bbq. It was so vinegary that I about choked on it! I tried to eat more of it but I just couldn't do it!

This has been a great tour of the Chicago area. Probably the best I’ve seen and probably the best I’ll ever see because it’s unlikely that I’ll ever go to Chicago myself. Just getting too old for that walking around I guess. Thanks very much for sharing the video. This is the second of the Route 66 series that I’m watching. I’m going to follow through your whole Route 66 series ‘s now.

Disney closed all their stores in Illinois in the past few weeks. Great video. For Beef in Chicago, Portillo's is also excellent Italian Beef and dogs.

Loved the video of your day around Chicago! The pepper relish they it in the Italian Hot Beef sandwich’s is what makes it so hot. Leave it off sn it’s still juicy but not hot! Can’t wait to see more videos sbd pics if your trip down Route 66! Safe travels!!

welcome to Chicago, i live out in the western suburbs,lived here my whole life, but you two inspired my husband and i to go to the smokies, which we did August 15th, we enjoyed it so much, i cried at the top of Cades Cove overlooking Gatlinburg, the most beautiful sight i ever seen as Illinois is so flat, thank you for your videos! enjoy :)
I also live in the Western Suburbs. My husband is from the "South Side" grew up around 26th and California.
Chicago style pizzas & hot dogs are the best.
My hubby is a Sox fan. I am a Cubs fan 😊

My husband & I went to Ricobene's a couple of weeks ago. We went to Chinatown to look for Kung Fu Shoes. My husband grew up in chicago southside. Me i grew up in the Western Suburbs. We live in Chicagoland suburbia 😎

When you get down to Springfield Illinois you should stop by the cozy dog drive in. They are really good.

Enjoyed this video when I was in Chicago many times I grew up in Michigan I never got a chance to go up in the Willis Tower I think it was cool how they showed all the buildings that you were taller than as you were going up in the elevator keep up the good work you two God bless 😄
Was in the Sears Tower in 1981 while it was the worlds tallest building. Glad they didn't have those glass decks to stand on then.

Nice to see the nice side of Chicago spent time going there in the 70 with my hubby a Chicago to New York turn around only I was in the bad side of town the stockyards, Halsted st and now as I reflect on it some 40 yrs later I am sure of possible seedy people my hubby was a trucker. I was only in my 20s then and knew nothing of bad things . The stories I have and life lessons
But you are at the right place for the best Chicago dog
