- Hi y'all Many of you were asking from this video for the BUTTER SWIM BISCUITS recipe. Well, here it is. Enjoy!
Pre-heat your oven to 450 F. Then take 2.5 cups of All Purpose Flour, 2 tsp of salt, 4 tsp of sugar, 4 tsp of baking powder. Sift dry ingredients together (or just stir em up real well). Then add 2 cups of whole buttermilk and stir it all till combined.
Meantime, in an 8x8 pan and 1 stick (1/2cup) of MELTED unsalted butter. Then pour in the biscuit mixture and even it all out. Don't worry if the butter seems to cover the dough (you can't get enough butter in this life - I always use KerryGold).
Before you put all this in the oven make sure you score with a knife or spatula. I do 3 rows across and 3 rows down. Put in the oven for 20-25 minutes and bake. When you take it all out - - it will be delicious. Nice and soft and buttery. But wait for it to cool a bit before you mess with it. Sets up better, and you won't burn your mouth and file a lawsuit against me.
