I'm watching this my NEW OOB Fire Tablet! I love it with Google Apps installed/enabled! The Dolby Atmos Works and I can here the difference between Stereo and Atmos.
I got a stable and cheap folding case with it.
Simple yet good review
This would have been a decent tablet but it’s not full HD . That’s the minimum needed to enjoy TH-cam , Netflix, Disney Plus content in full hd. I’m holding on for if there be a newer version of the amazon fire hd 10 for this year .

Microphone seemed fine for Zoom. Maybe Amazon put a good one in there for Alexa.
How is the brightness on this? My old he 8 didn't get very bright, even at max.

Can you change the launcher?
You can sort of change the launcher but it's a bit of a messy workaround and the original launcher keeps appearing. It's a hijack of the home button, so each time you press home the launcher runs over the top of the original.

Ha ha. Just a few. It's hardly noticeable when playing though.
Under everything else, where did they hide the MAC address? The old instructions of go to settings, internet, 3 dots gives you the option to reset internet & Bluetooth only. I was told mobile hotspots are not "real internet" by Kindle support after an hour of trouble shooting. So no location of MAC address. Funny thing is the hotspot worked unsecured perfectly. A note was sent to the developer. Anyone????Thanks Cheryl

Can I set up P.I.P. on this tablet. Every time I close the cover, video stops which I don't like as I sometimes like to listen but not watch. Thanks
nice video. I am now a subscriber. ive owned previous fire devices in the past, hd7 and hd8, and the quality of Netflix videos is very poor - low resolution for some reason. how do Netflix videos play on the new hd8?

I would not recommend any anti virus for this type of tablet. By default you cannot download untrusted stuff.

I have fire hd8 2018. It has poor screen quality that can easily crack when dropped plus poorly scratched screen unless with screen protection. Till now one of speakers has malfunctioned without any reason; however, thank to its two speaker stereo (lol).

The hd8 is cheaper and slower then the hd10. If you don't need the extra speed the hd8 is good.

Hi mate, picking up a bargain pc today and looks like the graphics card being thrown in for free because he couldnt get it to work is fake (ebay, wish etc). Willing to send you it if its something you'd want to make a video about (finding out what gpu is actually inside). HMU if you want it bro
PUBG and especially Asphalt 9 didn't look good. Looked like sub 30fps with lots of hitching. But still for the price they are (£45 on prime day!) its still very good.
