It's crazy, because the kids just keep getting sicker. I remember when Thomas Pridgen and Tony Royster Jr were the most insane in the game and Mike Portnoy was the metal god. Now we got Shariq Tucker and Mike Mitchell turning drumming into a sport, meanwhile Matt Gartska has demolished the metal world, and I'm pretty sure Chris Turner made a deal with the devil to get that double kick speed.

Yes he is a very good drummer but I really didn't care for the flavor of drumming he added to this particular song. If this was just to show that he can RIP and cut,great!!! He did that.
I just think for a song like this,his playing should have been more musically in-line with the song playing. Please understand, I am not throwing shade at this young lion,"I can't play like that", it's just,at my age,while I can appreciate an extraordinary drummer like this young lion,I'm also looking to see if the drummer can tastefully accentuate the song and still allow the song to breathe to let the full nature of the song to exist.
