That's not correct, if the sun DISAPPEARED, we wouldn't know about it because it takes approximately 8 minutes for light from the sun to travel to earth, so if the sun DISAPPEARED we wouldn't know for another 8 minutes. Now if the sun EXPLODED we would be dead WAY under 8 minutes.

I actually knew iguanas have 3 eyes, and so do bearded dragons, and I have a bearded dragon, except bearded dragons have the eye on top of their head to detect the weather, not brightness.
I'm not sure those photreceptive cells count as an actual "eye." They do in a spleodont (like a turatara), but I think they are less developed in true reptiles.
It's not for weather I am a beardies owner and it's evolved for if the was a predatory bird above
Fun Fact: In case, you don't have red food colouring, you can use paint or your blood.
Food colouring (like Red №40) is a type of paint, and consuming blood is against my faith. Cochineal beetles are also used for natural red food dye. It’s called carmine.
@Abdullah Isa Goldstein there's PLENTY of natural reds, both insect and vegetable based. Besides carmine, there's kermes made from another kind of scale insect that lives on oak trees. There's all the kinds of red wood you can use for dye, like Brazil/Pernambuco (which people in South America make a tea out of for heart health, so it has to be safe to consume ) Saunderswood, Bloodwood, and Camwood. And there are resins like Dragon's Blood.
@@Sojoboscribe thanks, but I prefer using the natural colour of whatever-I’m-eating. Crushing insects just for colouring is barbarically cruel, not to mention many insects are not even kosher. Red wood dye and resins seem aight to use, as they seemingly harm no living thing.
@Abdullah Isa Goldstein Since when were plants not living things? And the dye is in the heartwood, so you have to cut the tree down to get at it. You DON'T have to cut them down to collect resin, but you do have to slash the bark repeatedly to make the tree "bleed."
As I pointed out in another thread,if what you are looking at is organic, it's generally the case that something living died, or at least was injured, to get it.
