That cemetery was interesting. I love cemeteries. They make you reflect on life and our shared humanity. The tombstones were quite lovely. I work at a monument company so I always notice tombstones. They are works of art really, especially considering the amount of work that went into making them back in the day. And those waterfall scenes were crazy gorgeous!!! Good work!

You are so right people has got used to the Modern Way and you're the only one that I have been across on TH-cam that talks about the time back then how hard it was for them to survive everybody has gotten used to computers cell phones a knob on the wall to turn up the heat or a knob on the stove to cook and don't have to go out and bust wood I think about how many would survive if they had to do all the things that people did back then how many children would even know how to best what or how many grown-ups could even start a fire or how many people could cook on a wood stove so thank you so much for your videos and taking me along with you may God bless you and safe travel

I love hearing Frank snore. (I used to have a dog that snored really loudly.) I thought I heard Frank in the background and that really boosted my sense of the peace you were describing at the beginning of the video. The volcanic fields look so mysterious. I just loved the roaring river and the drone pull out of all the falls. So glad you share an interest in the vestiges of the past and also the tiny (juniper?) berries along the way. One is Tony Beets & his family & they just moved operations to Indian Creek/River. They other is my favorite & that’s Parker Schnabel. He’s only 28 & he’s owned a mining operation in the Yukon for 11 yrs! Crazy right!

I’m a few days late to the party (story of my life 😂), but Happy Vaniversary, Amanda & Frank!! 🥳 … It was so very cool to see the older clips+pics. 😊
I’m not a vanlifer, just a traveler/adventurer with a van (since 2007, before it was as trendy). Prior to the van, I was an avid backpacker…until I lost a leg in an accident…and the van got me out for longer camping trips. Even as just a solo van traveling woman, I find it harder now to even just “plain old travel” spontaneously, for the reasons you mention. Messy folks ruining it for those of us who care for the wild, and it’s harder to find free or even affordable overnight spots., and spots in nature. It makes things a lot harder, and I’m not even full time, so it makes a lot of sense why your feelings are as they are. 💛
Anyhoo!!! Loved the video! And love being a Patron! I get a lot of joy out of your content. Warmly, Bonnie from California
