One of the things I like about the plain generators is being able to create my own personality and family trees, but if I have no inspiration I’ll also head over to some personality trait generators lol
The idea to use the Clangen game for this actually alleviates a lot of problems I had with the challenge originally ;u; Mostly that the random nature of a paw in each world makes for weirdly unbalanced clans (not shade to the site, it's meant to be a starting point/a fun thing to mess with not something for just creating whole fleshed out clans) and perchance's generator usually ended up with the same names all the time and wouldnt generate kits (you pretty much always had a cat named cormorant-) I'd love to see more of these if you made them! but that's a lot of work so i understand if not
The fact that Harefin looks SO MUCH like a cat from my current clan who also was named somethingFin and has brutally murdered two of my favourite cats over an argument over first their mate or apprentice (who was the kit of one of them) and then over her (the cat who got murdered) wife who she had three young kits with. She has kept acting suspicious and is now one of if not THE oldest cat in the clan at nearly 200 moons old and has somehow stayed alive and been very smug about her murders. No one has fallen victim to her in a while thankfully but she seems to have something against that family. ALSO she murdered another KITTEN (probably it just said she got murdered but not by who) at the same time as her first victim and that kitten was the kit of the first victim’s mate’s apprentice who became very close after the death of the first victim. Swiftash was the apprentice of the first victim’s mate and she took over her apprentice after she died together with Swiftash’s 1 moon old kit Brightkit. Then Swiftash’s mate Sundusk got killed by Fin when their own kittens (Swift’s first litter came from an unknown mate) were barely apprentices. That family has some TRAUMA
i think our cats are pretty similar because harefin does end up going a little murder-y in the end and lives for an ungodly amount of time too aksjdhfjk
I've also been playing the Clan Gen Game often and I ended up combining from like 6-7 different profiled clans and created my own allegiance for 4 clans of a new story. But first clan I ever made- I uh- Found out how overpopulated with kits a clan can get-
lmao i feel the last part at one point i had like 17 kits at one time, all around the same age *they all got apprenticed in the same moon and all the notifs were just 70 new children 💀*
Idk why everyone wants to keep there clans small, my clan is like 230+ moons, and I adore how large it is, it seems so full and bustling with activity. I've never gotten over two pages, cuz all my cats keep dying, starclan is 3 pages long.
@@noirr.3 you can also enable your own challenges, example, fresh kill, kill the cats who your clan can't feed, also medcat den visits, and herbs. Look up Seri Pixel Biologist. She has the above listed generators.

I once accidentally sent out a 7-moon old apprentice that was ‘very low’ leveled all alone on a patrol. It came across dogs and I decided f it- let’s see what happens. She survived
In clan gen I also have a dead clan and they have done so well and I'm very proud of them,the leader is Blackstar the deputy is Mothclaw the medicine cats are Sagecoral(I love her)and Crookedfrost also good tip always have two med cats.
Omg I also had a leader named TawnyStar! She was a pretty tortie who had so much love to give and she had a mate that went to starclan,then she had another one wayyy later,they were basically litter mates,found with loners at the same moon,and they were so adorable together

I’m drawing my clan gens main events. Willowtail, a new warrior, is exhausted after sitting her vigil. She claims she’s fine and decides to go on border patrol that morning. She’s very tired, but insists she goes. She slacks behind every other cat, and hardly hears when the patrol finds paw prints that are unfamiliar. She tags along but jolts awake when she hears a yowl. She looks up and sees her clan mates, Oaktuft and Hedgewhisker, with their fur on end. A large group of rogues outnumbered the patrol, and watches, as if in slow motion, as her brother Hedgewhisker is about to endure a killing bite to the neck. She forgets her tiredness, and shoves Hedgewhisker out of the way and defends him herself. She puts up quite a fight, but is still very tired. Finally, the rogue pins her to the ground. She slashed at the rogues chest, but it wasn’t enough. The rogue smiled, and dug his claws in her throat, like she was prey. And made the killing bite. This causes the entire clan to go to a deep depression, for the next moon. “She was born a rogue, but died a warrior” is what I thought when I saw she died. She was the clans first death that wasn’t of old age.
Bit late to the clangen party but in my experience you don't necessarily have to pick mates yourself to avoid overpopulation! Sometimes the clan will just go from 40 cats to 6 in the span of a few moons it's wild
When i use the generator I make up the cats personalities and back stories by myself. It feels like I did more work than just pulling up a page and pressing a button.

Honestly all Jaggedheather, Rootmask, Shrewlarch, and Gravelpath seem to be similar in color pallets and markings! They all could be related OuO
