i'm glad you're liking the a7c ii. i got mine a month ago with the 35mm f2 dg dn, so fare I'm loving every moment of it. i will admit I'm new to photography, I find your videos inspiring and motivating!
Just switched from the A7III to A7CII as well - for the same reasons. So much more enjoyable for daily life. Have to try refraining from adding a GRIII to it. G.A.S. is real.
I grew up right next to that Bridge! Amazing photos as always. Do you have your Osmo Pocket on your left shoulder with a bag clamp? Love your dialogue when you speak about your compositions - is that audio straight out of the camera or with an external clip mic? Incredible work Adrien!
Thanks man! Yes I saw it in some of your videos ;) Usually I just hold the Osmo in my left hand that's why I break down the shots that are not really time sensitive, or after I already took the shot. In this video I did not use any DJI mics so the audio is straight out of the Osmo. I hold it quite close to my mic and the results are decent as long as there is not too much wind or background noise.
Picture of the lady in a kimono on the bridge is sooo good! I am also tempted by the a7cr but I can't justify it while I have my a7iv and the file sizes worry me 😂 I like the buttons on the a7iv but I also like the form factor of the a7c cameras more.
I have the A7RV and the file sizes are indeed a nightmare. I picked up the A7Cii and can confirm it's the sweet spot. There's still enough resolution to use APS-C lenses if you want to (esp for video). Currently have my A7RV up on eBay.
What tempted you to get the cii over the cr? I use the a7rv and have it set to raw medium which makes my image sizes the same for both full frame and in crop mode for when I don’t need to utilize the full 60mp. This way I can have either just my 24gm on and get 24/35 or if I am just wanting a light walk around set up for family walks my 35 2.8 zeiss and have a 35/50 combo set up. When I come to edit my images they are all the same dimensions regardless of if they are in crop or not. Your videos and images are always so inspiring , the reason i got the 35 2.8 over the Gm!
I am also very curious about your thoughts on the Sony a6700. The size and price compared to Fuji xt5 and the Sony a7cii make me consider it. But I am scared the Sony colors will force me to edit a lot. Id prefer shooting JPG. I hear the Fuji is best for that...
just wanna ask you. what do you think about sony apsc camera? it is still good if i buy it. cause im still a beginner. do you have any recommendation? thank you so much!
Hi, I love these videos and the composition break down, but obviously in street photography there are good days and bad days so the quality of photos made each shooting day would unavoidably vary a little. So I have a little video idea, is it possible that at the end of the year, you pick out 10 of your favourite photos that you made in the past year, and do a composition breakdown of them, so we can see your thought process for all the best/favourite work you’ve produced in the past year all in one video?
Zeiss 35 on the a7c/cr is an incredible combo in the hand
Strongly agree
It's a really great and capable camera; Always enjoyable to use!

Hahaha but the GR fits another purpose so if you have the money and find it at normal price go for it
Thank you Adrien for your work you teaching us see beauty in world !)
4:58 is excellent
Thank you for traveling down to Iwakuni. The place I currently call home.
Beautiful place :)

@@adriensanguinetti amazing, thanks so much! Love the consistency of the uploads - quality is always so high⚡️

Yes I was hesitating with the a7cr but file size was a bit scary so I went for the a7cii

Buen día por este lado del mundo. En cada video aprendo mucho. Gracias por tu esfuerzo de enseñarnos
Really like this camera, really wish Canon can come out something like a7cii
いつも素敵な動画、写真ですね^ ^
日本語も話せる方だったんですね!
I like your color photo shooting, can you share your tips to adjust white balance. Thank you in advance.
Beautiful Photos, what metering mode are you using? Keep it up bro, your photography is fan to watch, God bless you.
Excellent video
Oh maaaan, A7CII, this is a surprise, but not a surprise. I have a A7C as well lol
Love this little camera
I was born and raised in Hiroshima. Thank you for your perspective that I am not aware of.
Glad you like it, Hiroshima and the surroundings is a beautiful area

Hi Adrien!
Do you use back button focusing?
Nope, next video is about my custom buttons ;)
@@adriensanguinetti excited for that video!
Great video as always man! Are your POV's recorded with GoPro or iPhone at x0.5?
I use the Osmo Pocket 3
I had the same question. Quality is soooooo good out of that camera.

For JPEG Fuji is definitely better. But the ergonomics and user experience on Sony is much better
What is the 35mm f2.8 like for a travel lens? I’ve been looking into 35mm lenses for everyday/travel but unsure which to pick up.
I have been travelling many time with only a 35mm f2.8 and it's great
Are the colors in these photos all presets you sell?
Yes all photos are edited with my presets ;)
do you shoot in full manual or aperture priority mode?
Debating on this camera and the a7iv. Did it bother you that the viewfinder was on the left hand side versus the top middle for the a7iv?
just wanna ask you. what do you think about sony apsc camera? it is still good if i buy it. cause im still a beginner. do you have any recommendation? thank you so much!
It depends on you if you only want to do photography Sony A7Riii used is now really cheap and the image quality has not improved since its release.
@@greengerman ok then i need to save more money if i want Sony a7riii. thank you for replying my comment! 😇😇
Yes the price difference with full frame might not be that big anymore but for sure Sony apsc cameras are super good
I’m fascinated that you tend to use f/4. Wouldn’t you get better depth of field with a narrower aperture?
at 35mm it gives me already plenty and to be honest I just don't overcomplicate things and keep it at f4 most of the time
@@adriensanguinetti Thanks so much for answering ❤️
