There will never be anything in life quite like staying up all night to catch the Japanese streams in the following morning to see what new trio of characters they'd be revealing for the game that month. Each time I see something new related to BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle. I always have to remind myself. "While the game was amazing it is now dead from lack of support and lack of new characters and or new story mode or an actual arcade mode." I love BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle with all my heart but please if you make a sequel or give it a Guilty Gear counterpart with I don't know P5 characters and Guilty Gear characters and some other franchises. Please treat it better than how you treated Cross Tag Battle or at the very least make a sequel to Cross Tag Battle that improves upon it greatly.
I'd love to see a sequel to this game with a bigger budget; one that would have sprites for existing characters to be redrawn and not just plucked from their original games. The new sprites they did for the brand new characters looked fantastic, and having this would make the roster feel like they're part of a cohesive package.

In my personal opinion, I think Arc Systems should put in some anime characters that are adapted from Light Novels, Web Novels or Manga. Who do you think should be put in Cross Tag, from the suggestion I made?
I think it would be cool if they put some characters from Granblue Fantasy (like Narmaya, Gran, Zeta...) or do a crossover with Guilty Gear itself. As for anime characters... I don't know, Demon Slayer characters I think would have nice gameplay

Here's my version of how the story will play out: Ragna & Kurogane, along with the other contestants, are still creating the necessary energy needed for System to send them back to their worlds by battling. But, thanks to Hazama's meddling the first time he had the gem, the dimensional or reality warping pulse caught the attention of Great Red and Ophis from Dxd. Due to Great Red being the Dragon Of The Dream and Ophis being the Dragon of the Infinite, Kurogane's eye starts to painfully leak blood from trying to measure their life force. Then, Ophis does something that gives the contestants, even Hazama, fear.
She fights the real Susanoo Armor and destroys his entire being except the armor. Then, Ophis takes the now empty armor and wears it. Becoming the Armored Dragon Of Infinity: Susanoo Ophis.
Instead of challenging the contestants and Great Red outright, Ophis uses System to merge a few more worlds to the Phantom Field and starts another game. With System as the referee, contestants must battle each other in two-on-two matches with Ophis being the final boss. If you like the beginning, give me some comments and if not, try to top it.
I always wished this game had a different name (anything that didn't have blazblue in its name), then again, whatever name it was, there's so many blazblue characters people would still meme it for being blazblue and guests

Dude this was just a port of an older game. Ninja Wars releasing last year was a better shred of hope for 7even.

Blazblue has pretty much been on the backburner for the longest time for arcsys except when they lost the guilty gear license.
