Awww, cheering you on for sure. I'm a pray-er and definitely praying that God "will perfect that which concerns you". May He remove any blocks to the blessings that are coming your way. Here's to 2025! 🌟
Happy to hear about the potential adoption! Sending lots of love and hugs. Our 2025 budget is much different than last year; we have a new car payment ($1K), a laundry room renovation ($25K), and a classic car still in the shop with delay after delay we want to get to mechanically sound this year instead of in pieces so we can move shops. Not going to be saving or investing much at all this year, it’s a high spend year and sometimes you just have to roll with it and get some stuff done.
I know it's not how you wanted it but I'm so thankful adoption is something you're considering. However your family expands I know your child will be so loved ❤
We started a flexible spending account for the first time this year as well. I’m excited to try it out! 19 years with his last truck is amazing! He got his month worth from it. I hope his new one lasts a good long time as well. Best of luck on your adoption journey! Sending you guys lots of love and prayers ❤
I'm hoping we can save money with FSA this year! I noticed that even though it's $50, my check was only different by about $33. It's already a win! Thank you!💜
@simplifinance5154 any money contributed in 2025 has to be spent by march 2026. That is why we picked a small amount. Or everyone is getting a box of Tylenol and bandaid for Christmas
In 2023 when we lost 2nd gear in the (19) '89, we decided to upgrade to a '94. We did put some money into the "94, swapped the tires and rims out from the '89, etc... but even when considering the cost of a '94 on the open used vehicle market, we came put pretty well. Compared to a new equivalent, we came out very well inntermscofvdirect dollars. General repairs will be much cheaper.
So happy to hear you are starting the adoption process. We adopted our son after 10 years of trying everything short of IVF. Sending love and prayers your way!
That's aweome, thank you for sharing. Same here. We were told given my numbers chances would be less than 4% with IVF. Since we would have to pay out of pocket, it was a big decision.

Your fans will support you through the process of growing your family.
be careful with the FSA, it's different than an HSA in that the money left in the account goes away at the end of the year
It's a 15 month not a 12.
@@libbysworld7649 either way, if you don't spend it all by whatever deadline, you lose it
