    A field project for two former UNSW engineering students has brought renewable energy to a remote Vanuatu village with far-reaching benefits for the local community.

    Wonderful job guys. Fantastic project and a delightful video. The people of Vanuatu are such gentle and beautiful souls and I can just imagine how grateful they are for your efforts.

    Interesting work. What component is likely to fail the earliest, among those that can't be repaired without outside resources? When is that likely to happen? Are there plans for some additional help from outside then, to give the system a second lease on life? Has some agency committed to bear the cost of providing that help? If the village has to return to their original unpowered state, will they have benefited from having had the system for a while?
