This is absolutely incredible!! I've worked on superyachts the past few few years and never have I ever come across heart and soul in crew / owners like this. Amazing job!
The level of devastation on the island unbelievable, the power of nature undeniable. The work by the crew of Dragonfly, inspirational. Shaun O'Callaghan did an amazing job of documenting it all.
I want to acknowledge your help to Vanuatu especially the Shefa outer islands..I believe my families there would have really appreciate your relief assistance. Thank you and thank you for your generosity. We pray that God will continue to bless you.

Gina GT Thank you for your message Gina, I will pass this on to the team onboard. We were very sad to see a country that has been so hospitable to us in the past in trouble and hope that our efforts have helped in the process to recover from this storm. Good luck and all the best.
+Captain of M/Y Dragonfly . captain of Dragonfly , I love your video it is so well done! Really sensitive and touching. I am doing a short documentary as well myself that I will give away to the locals and try to show to festivals about how people lived their own experience before Pam and after andhow the country stand back to their feet so quickly. But i do not have lot of money to spend into helicopters costs so will it be possible to use your images with volcano Tanna, pentecost island and islands view from a drone ? I am happy to contribute with fees if you want.
Nice job on the video showcasing top notch humanitarian work done by the dragonfly crew. Self-less individuals helping out some real people in need. Great work Capt. Mike and the rest of lads and ladies on board and to Shaun for producing a very moving video.

Waoo i've been here all my life, i see you outside my office when you are in the harbour, i had heard what you had done for the people here but i still want to say thank, merci😍😍😍 this country is so special and beautiful and the people are so nice and friendly but what you have done and said is special and deserves a big big thank you.
Thank you very much for being part of the private sectors response. It is imperative that we incorporate this into the imminent weather catastrophes for our future. Please help establish cooperative links between the multi-million dollar aid organizations and the private sector. The organizations have huge resources and potential, yet seem bogged down when it comes to actual implementation. Thank you guys for getting done what needed to be done. From a fellow seaman. Harold ps Go Renegade Aid !!!!
Thankyou so much for the GREAT WORK you did.The beauty of nature is that it never stops giving. When we humans tap into that timeless law of nature, the rewards are far reaching, healing the soul of man and renewing his mind to the endless possibilities that awaits every positive action taken to assist the needy.Your story will be told from generation to generation. We are story tellers! Bravo DragonFly, Bravo! The ORCV (based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia) have a ten year history with our Pacific Neighbour since we conducted our first 1,885 nautical mile international ocean yacht race from Melbourne to Vanuatu in 2006. During preparation for that first race it became clear that we could do something more than just bring our much needed tourist dollar to the people of Vanuatu. Consequently for each of the Melbourne to Vanuatu races in 2006, 2010 and 2014, we have also filled and despatched a shipping container with humanitarian aid, from generators, computers, clothing to school books, which was distributed by yachts to villages in Vanuatu during their cruising after the race. We've started an Humanitarian Aid blog on our website orcv.org.au/index.php/vanuatu-humanitarian-aid. Not on the same level as the great work your vessel and highly skilled crew performed. We have declared this Saturday 11th April 2015 as "Yachties 4 Vanuatu Day" in Melbourne and have support for fundraising initiatives from our ten major local yacht clubs. We've partnered with aid agency Oxfam Australia www.yachties4vanuatu.com. As Vanuatu has long been a popular cruising destination for yachts from all over Australia, we'd like to see yacht clubs from other States in Australia get on board to help also and we'd be happy to assist them to get involved.
I'm a writer of novels, and being here in Latin America was writing a story , where the setting for this novel would be Vanuatu. A story based on a person arriving for a social and humanitarian service to this place. What happened with this video !
+Dhardra Blake For this purpose I am doing, I am a writer of novels, and history is an African girl who was saved from famine, brought to a hospice here in Guatemala , and here was given care and education, and large with a profession was sent to Vanuatu. I will give the British Embassy here in my country. The novel I'm writing yet , maybe I have not done in about six months the end .
If I place a 'Shaun O'Callaghan' tag, Could I use 10sec of your footage around 3'13'' making a short video for Oxfam just to show how that storm damaged the trees?
Amazing, inspiring, humbling. Thank you for serving the people of #Vanuatu and for creating this masterful and moving Video: which shows the whole world your good work, and will inspire much more positive action from the #YachtCommunity #YachtAidGlobal should be proud of their input, and all the behind the scenes players that helped to make this happen. Star Light That's a good point. Unfortunately many of the villages that we visited had seen the extreme winds strip all of the trees and there no crops left.
The coconuts are no good once they are shaken in a cyclone. The ones that are dry can be consumed for sure. But my understanding is that most go off within a after a week. So the first week there is no issue really.
This is absolutely incredible!! I've worked on superyachts the past few few years and never have I ever come across heart and soul in crew / owners like this. Amazing job!
Great job crew and management of Dragonfly, absolutely incredible. It shows a great deal of humanity and solidarity. Thank you for your support.

The People that died of dehydration ,,, couldn't they have drank coconut water to re-hydrate themselves until water arrived.
