I couldn't help but notice the ironic concern for the population growth and starvation. We want to protect and save everyone and it's also an issue. The world seems to be correcting itself in what we would see as terrible tragedies. Am I the only one that saw that?
But the problem is bigger than agriculture, The consumerist culture that so many gladly partake in is a huge problem too. I'm afraid greed will kill us all in the end.
As a scientist, wouldn't it be reasonable to not only cut carbon emissions, find more greener solutions and, I think what's most important, have more investment in technology? I would like your input with this idea.
i am sorry to inform you we have next to no choices, example buying a electric car, so you think it's good for the environment well they are not: all they do is delocalize the the pollution issue , they appear to be cleaner they look cleaner well there not: lithium batteries major environmental issues possibly worses than petrol fumes. Excessive amounts of water used in the extraction where water is usually in short supply for local communities . Do research it really is disappointing. That is just one example of many.
