I don't know Jimmy, I've watched Royalty Automotive, nice guys and good videos. However, I always enjoy yours more. I like the one on one and work atmosphere I get with your videos. Its like hanging out in the shop with you. Keep on doing what you're doing. 👍🇺🇸
I think the labor guide times have been so low lately, because states like Illinois made warranty time illegal. So to counter that, they make the "cp" labor time lower. I know a guy who knows a guy and I'm going to find out.
Dang it, I HATE it when we lose internet! At least we kept power this time. It's about 12 degrees here with several inches of snow on top of a couple inches of ice! Nice to be catching up. By the way. I actually like Royalty auto and Sherwood, but not as much as your channel. I do not understand how his channel has blown up and yours hasn't. I wonder that about all kinds of different channels across different genres. (sometimes I think it is catchy thumbnails - or possibly mentions from channels that are already huge) Thank you for making the repair videos for us to watch while you were off for Christmas. Hope you are having an awesome week!
Yeah, it's funny how those things work out sometimes. I'm not really focused on views and all that as much as I made it sound. Things are going great, I’m just impatient, lol. I just want to make good content.
hey man, another FL youtuber here, almost 600 views in six hours isnt bad at all man, give it time trust me, your growing and will be at 100k subs in no time! Where in FL is the shop located? Keep up the good work!
I have thought about this as well as far as why certain channels get more attention. I think the reason is the fact that other channels like royalty automotive make very specific videos about one diagnosis or one repair on one car. It’s a lot easier for someone to look at the video and know exactly what they are going to be watching. Where as your channel is a little more realistic. In my eyes, this is the best channel to watch for an upcoming technician who wants to see the reality of being flat rate. However, I don’t think your style videos are as appealing compared to other channels for this reason. Nothing to do with you as a person. I just don’t think as many people have the patience to watch this style of video. I wouldn’t take anything I said too seriously, it’s just that I have wondered this myself and that’s my best guess. 🤙
Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it. I think you are right. That is why when time allows I have been doing more opinion and individual repair videos. :)
keep the format....but on an interesting vehicle compile the vid on just that vehicle as a completed whole video that may have taken various days....best of both worlds...
@@thk7513This is reality, pally. Im thinking you'd love the Brady bunch or other fabricated shows that keep you in your happy place. I hope Jimmy never stops the real life commentary as this is the difference between a master mechanic show and one that has actors in fancy uniforms and man buns (which is likely what appeals to you).
Love your videos. You are the GOAT. The problem is others like Scanner fixit. Do individual videos. Say I want to find 2016 vw golf r miss fire issue. They might pop up. You my sir are a university, I have learned way more watching you. We also have individual specialists like humble mechanic and mr subaru, but unlike them you work on them all. Like the vw/Audi wheel holder. I learned that from humble mechanic. Yours will never pop up for a new vw/Audi owner. That sucks you have to out source scanning especially on a Chevrolet. Keep up the good job.
I watch a lot of the other mechanic videos and I still think you are the best, don’t know why you don’t have more subscribers. Started out watching Scotty Kilmer a real shade tree mechanic, his click bait titles turn me off. Royalty auto a little to technical for me, same with pine hallow
I really love what you do Jimmy.. BUT it is not about me,, look at Ray man Ray he shows one job at a time and he shows the whole job And he has tons of followers.. People might be wanting to try to see the whole job so they can do their job.I don't know, you deserve a lot of fowlers you Do you do great work.. FROM TOM..
With the 1000's of potential fasteners, why does Audi / Volkwagen / Porche Need to use "speciality Fasteners" which are still readily available? A standard socket head on those caliper bolts would of been appropiate. It's just dumb. By the way, that Audi's tires are 90% used up. Time from some new treads! Wheel torque by tire shops and mechanics who use "Torque Sticks" but continue to tight with their HD Air impact guns set to 450ft/lbs.. The other problem with over tightening is when a driver has a flat on the side of the road, good luck getting the wheel unbolted with the stock wheel lug wrench! You won't.

I really appreciate that! Thanks for watching! 👍 The support has been awesome!
The Audi brake job was very informative. You actually complimented the engineers, which nearly made me faint.
I’m glad you thought it was informative, I always like to give credit when it’s due. ;)
I think royalty auto is growing because it’s one car the hole video and scopes
Yeah, agreed, they mostly do video courses more than reality auto repairs.
I am back hope you missed me. OMG got 3 months to catch up on.
Glad you're back! You have been missed my friend!
You should see Powerstop rotors that are drilled and slotted. Yes I put them on my "grandma like like" 2016 Chrysler Town & Country. 😅
Stops on a dime and gives 9 cents change! Haha
every mechanic needs 4 coffee's and a dozen donuts on a Monday its a tradesmen signature .😅🤣😂
Haha nailed it OB!

Man it sure seems like that’s the case. Used to easily beat the guide by 30%. Not on newer vehicles.

I always look forward to your videos in the morning Jimmy. You gave me a good laugh with the "Das is gut! You vill like it!" I added "Or else!" 🤣🤣
Haha I love that! 🤣
I really miss my 93 Bonniville, great car, engine/transmission. The problem was no more R-12, and the AC had a leak.
Time for a conversion to 134a! :)
They were great driving cars.
Thanks for the video Jimmy!
You're welcome!
Thanks for the info on the Buick encore very informative I have a 2018 model so I'm learning a lot so keep up that great work , love content
Glad it was helpful! I try to make the videos educational, enjoy! 😊

Rofl, a good one!

Yeah, I think you’re right. Really working at it and just have lots of goals.
Thanks!
@@UnapologeticallyMike it’s a strangely named city that’s over populated judging by the traffic in the videos, It’s goes something like KissmeKissmi

I was thinking a ginger wig cut like a mullet might increase subscriptions
I am ordering one right now…
You don't watch Johnny Phillips Plumbing. He says shit the bed. 😂
lol
I think people like being preached to by someone who acts like gods gift to auto repair.
Personally i love your channel and general humility.
Thanks very much Mark!
I agree.
classical music for the shop
=no strikes
Haha noted!
wheel torque on some chebbys like the equinox is 140 lab pds L U miniun wheels too its crayz
Those wheels are not just for looks, lol.
Jimmy, when you complain it costs you point 1.
That’s what I’ve heard. Dang it.
@@JimmyMakingitwork😂
Too much complaining! Stick with the repair of the vehicle and keep the editorials to a minimum.

Subscription to gm programming is 48.00 per vin for 2 years. Also newer cars you need that nastf crap. Which took me a month to get.
Thanks Phil. Our RAP machine should include all of that for us. Trying again this week.
Where is his shop located?
Kissimmee, Florida.
Brilliant video thanks Jimmy 🔧🔧🔧
Thanks Phil!
Another Great day in the shop!!
It was a wild one! Haha
