    And to think that the habitable portion of the atmosphere is barely visible. Even though the "atmosphere" extends to the Lunar orbit, that portion that we can live in is only about 3 miles or 4.8 kilometers thick. That's a distance you can walk in about an hour. Beautiful and sobering video

      Skin on an apple. Always shudder when videos show meteors beginning to incandesce a thousand miles out.

    It's always interesting to see the collaboration of nations working together in space. If only they could figure out how to do that on the ground. Awesome footage.

    If Earth is not the centre of universe, but Earth should be the centre of observable universe because we are observing universe from a fixed point.
    Then how Copernicus proved that Earth is not the centre of the universe???

    • @hangerq5735
      @hangerq5735 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It depends on how you look at it . When you are at your desk watching this video , you could say at your standpoint ,you are at the center of your own universe or the center of your house or the room.

      @@hangerq5735 and how Copernicus proved that fact??

    • @hangerq5735
      @hangerq5735 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Nitesh Bhagwat
      Copernicus proved the Sun was at the center of the universe and that the planets all encircled or revolved around our Sun 🌞 in his day . Of course as centuries moved on , we know that our solar system including our Sun revolves around the center of our galaxy as well. Whether or not our galaxy is at the center of the universe is not important really. According to the best estimates of astronomers there are at least one hundred billion galaxies in the observable universe. There is no centre of the universe! According to the standard theories of cosmology, the universe started with a "Big Bang" about 14 thousand million years ago and has been expanding ever since. Yet there is no centre to the expansion; it is the same everywhere. The Big Bang should not be visualised as an ordinary explosion. The universe is not expanding out from a centre into space; rather, the whole universe is expanding and it is doing so equally at all places, as far as astronomers can tell.

      He tried to explain planetary motion by saying that everything moves around the Sun in circles, and that worked out with observations and simplified things a lot.

      Well considering there's a giant ball of plasma 1 million times the size of the earth blasting solar rays bright enough to sear your retinas obviously it dimmed surrounding extracurricular sightings. Why are you so closed minded and can't accept science and knowledge is it too scary??
