Hi Chris! Good video. I really like the tip about taping the jump rings before cutting them. What is the brand of the blue gel lube you used when you cut them?
I think it was a paste Pepe sold for a while but I don’t see it on their site any longer a dry lube like beeswax bur life or pepelube works just as well
Does that cutting technique with the jump ring cutter work with 22 gauge wire? I have been trying to figure out how to cut 22 gauge so that the ends will butt against each other but so far sawing them by hand or using flush cutting pliers has been time consuming and I have not had consistent results. I had read a review of that jump ring cutter a few years ago where it said that thinner wire just collapses in the form - but with your technique it looks like it wouldn't.
Those actually were given to me by a now deceased friend we used to shoot together when I was working in LE one day he handed those to me and said “you earned these more than I ever did.” He was a good man.
@@LionPunchForgeLPF Chris, Thanks for the reply. I was a Marine for many years. Your videos are great, also I have the Haymaker Saw frame. Awesome tool!
Very inventive way to approach this little glitch! Thanks! Great addition to the book.
That was excellent!!! Thank you for your time ❤
Always a pleasure to help!

Hi Chris, I see a Marine Corps rifle and pistol expert badge. Semper Fi Brother.
