I love that apartment. Its so beautiful! And i love how you wake up and see your whole place and im sure your view is really cool to wake up to as well!
A large colorful picture behind your couch would really bring some character to the apartment. Its beautiful, clean and crisp. The beach view is breathtaking! Lucky you!
People its a studio apartment! They are generally small and connected like this. Compared to most studio apartments this is quite well designed offering an abundance of storage and the way everything is tucked into the walls is neat and clever great for a single person with minimal furniture.
I would add green pillows aligned in "ombre style" along the couch to make it a little less bland. The green and white combo with hardwood is really fresh looking, love it.
Ahhh I really love your apartment! I am also a huge fan of white furnishings, but I would honestly stick to white and pale grey, the green stands out a little bit too much for me. I work for a company that stages homes so I am not totally qualified to give advice but I know a little bit about home decorating. If I were to decorate it I would use pale teals and blue because you are from a warm climate it would help make the apartment blend seamlessly to the outside. Also a rule my co workers and i have is it is okay to go very plain with whites and greys if you use a little bit of sparkle. Chrome is my personal favourite but golds and coppers add a little bit off depth to s space as well. Also your bed is gorgeous you should match the apartment a little bit to it. If you aren't afraid of a little DYI go to a local flea market or thrift store and get some vintage looking pieces and paint them out white. It will help create a more formal and cozy feel. I hope that helped and wasn't too long! Your videos are awesome and you are by far one of my favourite make up gurus, good luck in your new home!
with the shelves you could get a variety of frames, new and vintage looking, white and silver maybe and just fill them with lots of nice pictures of you and friends and family? also when you go to other countries you could get a trinket from each country and keep it on a shelf, then you could have a shelf full of trinkets to remind you of each country?:D xx beautiful apartment! xx
Wow this is GORGEOUS!!! Love it! It's so modern... the apartment I rent is in a 100+ year old house, which I also like but it is more "cute" and "cozy" and "has character." Your apartment is my dream apartment
I love your apartment, it's very nice and modern, I wish we had such an apartment in U.S. Especially in California. Its open, bright, clean, modern and got so much storage and closet space. And let's not forget, love your bed, matches your apartment very well.
I totally agree! In Florida it's very sunny most of the year as well but it's pretty hard to find apartments like this one. I really love white, modern living spaces and it seems like they don't exist here unless you do it yourself lol
+PrettyN BP AUstralia is VERY lucky with modern living...... Our modern way of living is very NOW! Interior finishes are beyond what US modern living portray. Its very minimalistic in OZ and is toned with amazing interior design furniture. USA seems to be streamline, a cut out from what you see in Home Depot......
I absolutely love the apartment itself and also what you have done with it. I'm a huge fan of bright, open places and I am personally very fond of what you have done! It's so clean and fresh looking.
Where your iMac computer is. Maybe put up that picture, and add in a waterfall lamp that shines light on the picture or just illuminates light with a delightful running of water. Maybe add some multi colored rugs with your favorite designs or geometric shapes to give it even more pops of color. Colors that won't clash with your color scheme. No reds or dark purples. Pastels maybe.
definitely a lot of white. I am a fan of white as well because it's clean and fresh but pictures on the wall will be a BIG help and a pop of colour, a nice centrepiece for your kitchen table, a picture above your makeup station.
You can hang a red with green painting on top of your makeup station or your couch. Red and green go well together and it'll give your place a chill vibe with vibrant but fresh colors.
Lauren Hope I think TH-camrs get aroung 1k for 100 000 watchings, and ONLY this video has over a milion. Do the math and you'll know how she can afford it.
Lauren Hope You might be right, can't argue about it cause i really am not sure. But even if they get like 200$ for 100k views, that's still alot of money.
add a pop of color, like cold throw pillows, colorful blankets, fun paintings or pictures, just very colorful things to put around the apartment, anything colorful would work
This open floor plan is really nice. All the white is super bright, crisp and clean. I know this is an old video, but these suggestions might suit you better now anyway as opposed to when you first moved in. Above your bed you could put a large really nicely framed mirror. This will make the space appear even larger because you'll be able to see the windows in your living room that were out of view. You can also take that wall space above your couch to arrange multiple pieces of art that are different shapes and sizes (portrait and landscapes that flow together whether that be a theme [cue horror theme?] or a colorscape) so that they form a larger square shape (leaving space in between them though too). This will help give your living room feel more like it's own space instead of bleeding into your kitchen (horror pun intended). Overall, I think you could really benefit from some color. I know your old bedroom was all white and clearly that's a favorite classic style of yours but you can add more character without it being too much or drawing away from all the white. Maybe now you have done that since again this video is older. I could see some really cool lamps on those side tables in your living room also. In your hallway those shelves would be an amazing display for different decor pieces you pick up on your travels and such. It would be like having a little museum to really showcase some pieces that have caught your eye, have a story or just bring up a great trip or memory. Your home is like your little treasure cove.
Its very tiny! I mean it has nice floors and bathroom, but the layout is awlful. You have to walk through the kitchen to get to the living room and it is not really a living room because it is just an elongated kitchen. The bedroom is very small and it just has a slide curtain to separate it from the kitchen. I mean maybe this is how most apartments are in Australia, but this would be considered extremely small for an American apartment.
Housing here is very very expensive, plus she probably lives very close to a city. This apartment is sooo nice for one in the city. Mine is smaller and I pay 250 a week so she's doing pretty damn well hahaha
that would not be considered small for an american apartment. I live in san diego and the typical 2 bedroom apartment (small rooms and small living room) is about 1200 a month. Maybe it's just where you live in your state or city that that's considered small but to for the average person in america her's is big. her apartment is such a nice size, not too small not too big :)
On the shelves with the mirrors in the hallway, really colorful glass vases would be beautiful. You could mix it in with plants and pictures, photos too.
Yea I hate studio apartments and apartments where you sleep in the same area you do everything else. Except use the bathroom lol. I love the simple decor though
can we please see a new apartment tour of how it looks now?? love your apartment and your style and would be awesome with some inspiration because i could see it has changed a bit
This is my dream apartment! I love the white decor and the green plants as well as the open plan! It's a dream come true. Hoping to have an apartment like this one day!
Hey girl ur so pretty! In the hall leading to the bathroom with the shelves and mirrors u should put a bunch of different sizes of candles and different candle arrangements... With the mirrors behind them they would give a nice/cool affect
Love the overall theme of white and the accompanying decor, so modern and clean. Thinking 2014 is the time for a sea change and Sydney did make my list.
She said it was Bondi in Sydney and the properties are pretty expensive their especially those types of studio rooms that Lauren has so I guess min. $400 and max. $600-700 a week :) I'm from Sydney by the way
I think you should have something multi coloured that ties in with the green and white. Coral even! And put colourful fruit in the bowl all the time as well as flowers
Maybe instead of the green pot plants, you could buy fake bouqets of colourful flowers and put them in small vases. The green just looks too boring in my opinion and the colour white contrasts really well with colourful flowers :)
I think adding some pictures on the wall or any décor would be really great. Also on the shelves or tables you can add those geometric sort of décor. And gold would be a really pretty addition to your apartment.
A nice big picture above your couch that has some green in it (to match the rest of the decor) would look nice and brighten up the room and make it feel more like home! x
If none of you have noticed nor taken any notice of her current vlogs she no longer lives here she hasn't for a couple years her and Reece now own a house in Perth.
love your apartment, especially the kitchen and bedroom area! So beautiful and cosy, remembers me of my apartment too actually, I kinda have the same layout in the living room/kitchen area ;) You have lots of storage in the closets which is really nice! love you!
An extra lounge chair/beanbag to put in your lounge area between the dinning table and window. More seating for guests and creates a rounded atmosphere
What a stunning apartment! You should add more color towards your bed by throw pillows or like throw blankets, oh and add some pictures on the bland walls xx
hey what you could put in the hall way by the door is pictures or photo frames because it would take up some of the space and make your apartment look even cuter x hope this helps :)
A long darker green rug similar to the one in your living room would look great on the entry way. Very nice apartment! I would love to live in a place like that.
I would put some picture frames in the hallway area with the plants. It may just be me, I love pictures. I think it just makes it feel a bit more like a home and unique. I would definately put up pictures but not crazy colors that would just drive eyes crazy with white being so bright already, so just warmer tones. Potpourri also is an easy way to spice up an area. And maybe some pillows and a throw blanket on the couch, just some things to make it feel more comfortable and like a home. Hope this helped(: very gorgeous space by the way.
Hello Lauren! I just found you on TH-cam and i have to say, i am very impressed!! You are one year younger than me and already have such an awesome apartment and achieved so much in general! I find that very inspirational and motivating for my own goals in life, to never give up and work as hard as you can in the element you can do best! Thanks for just being you and inspiring people all around the world! :) Have a wonderful day! Greetings! :)
I love that apartment. Its so beautiful! And i love how you wake up and see your whole place and im sure your view is really cool to wake up to as well!
ugh. I am in love with your apartment! It is so gorgeous!!!

I would add green pillows aligned in "ombre style" along the couch to make it a little less bland. The green and white combo with hardwood is really fresh looking, love it.
Your style looks so chic, I could never have glass, mirrors, and white furniture in my apartment... it would never look clean.
Ahhh I really love your apartment! I am also a huge fan of white furnishings, but I would honestly stick to white and pale grey, the green stands out a little bit too much for me. I work for a company that stages homes so I am not totally qualified to give advice but I know a little bit about home decorating. ***** I just think it is a little over whelming, maybe if there were more hues of green introduced but it is a very big POP as it stands right now.
No, I feel the green brings out the room. It also makes it seem more fresh and "crisp". Sticking to just white and pale grey would be extremely bland.
Dream Appartment!!!!!!
This is a big apartment. Very nice indeed my next app will be as cute as hers :) Thank you Breeny :)
maybe add some soft faux fur blankets to warm it up but still be luxurious
I am so in love with this apartment. It is motivating me to move out
I kinda hate when she says she doesn't look good. She has an amazing personality and is gorgeous even when she looks a mess!
with the shelves you could get a variety of frames, new and vintage looking, white and silver maybe and just fill them with lots of nice pictures of you and friends and family? also when you go to other countries you could get a trinket from each country and keep it on a shelf, then you could have a shelf full of trinkets to remind you of each country?:D xx beautiful apartment! xx
Wow this apartment is beautiful
I still love Lauren's look. So comfortable and casual. The apartment is just lovely!
Beautiful apartment! I love white for home decor too, it's so relaxing and clean!
i love to buy tension rods, and hang a pretty curtain panel and drape it back as a transition to a new room. any fabric or rug will help the echo.
Wow this is GORGEOUS!!! Love it! It's so modern... the apartment I rent is in a 100+ year old house, which I also like but it is more "cute" and "cozy" and "has character." Your apartment is my dream apartment
Can you do an uppdated apartment tour?
I love your apartment, it's very nice and modern, I wish we had such an apartment in U.S. Especially in California. Its open, bright, clean, modern and got so much storage and closet space. And let's not forget, love your bed, matches your apartment very well.

Omg so simple and elegant!!

I WANT THAT APARTMENT!! So cute, clean, practical and full of storageeeeee!! So lucky
This is incredibly beautiful for a person living on their own for the first time. So jelly.
You can hang a red with green painting on top of your makeup station or your couch. Red and green go well together and it'll give your place a chill vibe with vibrant but fresh colors.
Those mirror shelves are legit perfect for books. I'd be going crazy if I were you.
I'd *love* to live there! It's so elegant and neat.
i love your style, thats my dream apartment.
Its a really cool apartment, good for her
wow...that apartment is awesome! Im looooving it!
Your home is just perfect! I love it in white, the little touch of green on, the mirrors and so...
you should put books in the hallway! i think it would look so pretty :)
That place would go for about $3500/month here in Boston, MA, USA!
I don't know how she would afford it but id say it'd be about that or more in bondi!
Lauren Hope I think TH-camrs get aroung 1k for 100 000 watchings, and ONLY this video has over a milion. Do the math and you'll know how she can afford it.
They get a lot less than that
Lauren Hope You might be right, can't argue about it cause i really am not sure. But even if they get like 200$ for 100k views, that's still alot of money.
I hear youtubers actually get 5p per 1000 views, slightly more realistic and harder to achieve!
add a pop of color, like cold throw pillows, colorful blankets, fun paintings or pictures, just very colorful things to put around the apartment, anything colorful would work
That's a weird layout but I love all the mirrors and the furniture after you decorated (:
I NEED YOUR BED! where can i get it????

can we see an apartment tour with all your furniture in it?!
it has furniture in it in the end??
Michaela Watkins I think that's her bed in her bedroom and it's got a sliding door.

Please do an updated one!
i love the green against the white! LOOKS SO PRETTY
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE your apartment. Love love love love
My dream apartment 😍👌
WOW that is an apartment, its more like a house, lovely furniture and great ideas of where to put it and that's alot of mirrors. Great choice
I loooooove your space!!!! But that big mirror wall thing in your bedroom will seriously scare the heck out of me specially at night. Heeeheee
Its very tiny! I mean it has nice floors and bathroom, but the layout is awlful. its called studio type apartment/condo -.-
irene gee studio apartments don't have rooms... she has a separated bedroom
that would not be considered small for an american apartment. I live in san diego and the typical 2 bedroom apartment (small rooms and small living room) is about 1200 a month. yeah but this isn't america?
....
people think the US is the only country in the world it's really egocentric.
On the shelves with the mirrors in the hallway, really colorful glass vases would be beautiful. You could mix it in with plants and pictures, photos too.
That's a really weird apartment o_O
Yea I hate studio apartments and apartments where you sleep in the same area you do everything else. Except use the bathroom lol. I love the simple decor though
I love this so much. But where I live amparments like this doesn't exist
She said in the video there's a sliding door to the bedroom. Very nice layout for a studio apartment :)
Iooljjhjj book loop loop loop

i hear Gordon Ramsey's voice whenever she says bland
U definitely need some pops of color, but it is really nice and modern! Get some bright colors girl! lol
This is my dream apartment! I love the white decor and the green plants as well as the open plan! It's a dream come true. Hoping to have an apartment like this one day!
This makes my place look like a dustbin..
This actually makes me feel claustrophobic
Hey girl ur so pretty! In the hall leading to the bathroom with the shelves and mirrors u should put a bunch of different sizes of candles and different candle arrangements... With the mirrors behind them they would give a nice/cool affect
Wow, what do you do for a living??
That IS my dream apartment 😍
Love the overall theme of white and the accompanying decor, so modern and clean. Thinking 2014 is the time for a sea change and Sydney did make my list.
being rich must be nice *cries in instant ramen*
I love the whiteness!
Your apartment is literally my dream apartment!
How much did you pay for this?
How affordable is an apartment like this??
This is so gorgeous and beautiful, omg I'm in love with this apartment. I actually really like the layout.
i think you need a coffee table for the living area :P
How much does an apartment like that cost?
I'm gonna guess 1,200-2,000 a month. Depends what city though
She said it was Bondi in Sydney and the properties are pretty expensive their especially those types of studio rooms that Lauren has so I guess min. $400 and max. $600-700 a week :) I'm from Sydney by the way

i am getting dizzy from you filming.
i usually get dizzy but surprisingly this didnt get me dizzy
*****
creep
I think adding some pictures on the wall or any décor would be really great. Also on the shelves or tables you can add those geometric sort of décor. And gold would be a really pretty addition to your apartment.
I want your job ... your apartment is so pretty ♥ you're rich x3
Why?
ya it is just one room, but very beautifull, clean and luxury room......and she is alone,no kids....so why not
I love her room :D
A nice big picture above your couch that has some green in it (to match the rest of the decor) would look nice and brighten up the room and make it feel more like home! x
On the shelves in the hall I think it would look really nice with photos and pictures in different frames, love your apartment !xx
Books, candles, throw blankets, definitely some cool artwork!
I love the colour scheme with green in it! It's so modern and open looking, dream apartment! Haha
If none of you have noticed nor taken any notice of her current vlogs she no longer lives here she hasn't for a couple years her and Reece now own a house in Perth.

What a stunning apartment! You should add more color towards your bed by throw pillows or like throw blankets, oh and add some pictures on the bland walls xx
You could get a big light pinkish-white etc. painting just above the TV couch, the wall is very empty and such an item would suit there perfectly
very cute apartment, i would probably add a curtain to cover bedroom, add flowers and candles and more touches of color to it.
hey what you could put in the hall way by the door is pictures or photo frames because it would take up some of the space and make your apartment look even cuter x hope this helps :)
This apartment is so cute and amazing !! I love the way you decorated it. Just wish the bedroom was bigger than that but seriously gorgeous ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
A long darker green rug similar to the one in your living room would look great on the entry way. Very nice apartment! I would love to live in a place like that.
I would put some picture frames in the hallway area with the plants. It may just be me, I love pictures. I think it just makes it feel a bit more like a home and unique. I love how decluttered everything is :) Very simple and elegeant
ugh, your apartment is absolutely gorgeous. I'm so so so jealous.
I think I would prefer a light teal or a salmon pink with your colour scheme. Very pretty apartment thought.
I am soooo jelly of all that storage!!! Gorgeous apt!!!
Perfect, I love your taste in interior design
I would love that! I know you didn't show the window, but it's probably a really nice view, and that must be awesome!
I'm obsessed with your apartment! It's beautiful
I agree , do orange throw pillows! I love the layout of your home :)
Greetings! :)
I want to see how you store and organize all of your make-up.
