This is powerful. I two was and is the darkest in my family of 6. I’ve always felt a complex of being the dark skin girl. They use to call me Dark&Lovely. My mom called me her chocolate baby. I can’t wait to get the book. I love my dark skin now an I’m in my 60’s. Thank God for revelation of who he called us to be!!!
This episode was very therapeutic. When we ova here with the Browns, we gone laugh, get deep and we may even cry. But you know what? That's our business!❤
This was what I needed! Yesterday when this video uploaded I was in a state of immense pain. October 18th Marks 2 years to the day of my mother's passing. She relapsed after years of being clean. I was angry and hurt still am. My TH-cam is on auto play so when the video I watching ended this one just was the next video in queue. To be honest I thought it was going to be kind of boring. God sent this message so I can hear it loud and clear. My mother died a month after I got engaged. I had to take my own mother off my guest list. I lied and told people she had a heart attack too. I was ashamed. This show helped me humanize her.I was going to end it all yesterday. Although I'm in the forever state of mourning, this gentleman's testimony help me fight another day. Thank you
This resonates! When you can see your parent as a human being with their own life experience, challenges, dreams, and trauma, it transforms the relationship and makes it easier to demonstrate compassion and forgiveness. 💗
Perspective is everything... Thanks Chance for saying that. Going forward, I choose to share the past in a different light. Not excusing the bad, but accentuating the good and the positive.
Colorism has been a real issue and still is in the Afro-American community. We had a group meeting with younger members of our our family and friends about this to see what they're going through today. Thank you so much for this conversation. Will definitely share with young people.
Thank you, Terrance, for your transparency. This is powerful. I believe you needed this. Tab and Chance, I truly got several nuggets as confirmation. Continued blessings to you all.
I knew his father growing up in the Mississippi Delta. Judge Fletcher was well known. Being one of the only dark skinned people in my family made growing up tough. Thank you for this episode, it was food for the soul. ❤
Thank you Tabitha and Chance! This is a very important topic! And thank you, to your guest for sharing!! It is so important to have someone to talk too!!
Whew I cried so much during this!🥹 Simply excellent interview 👏🏾👏🏾. Thank you Terrence for sharing your experiences with us and thanks Tab & Chance for proving a safe space for him to do so. Love y’all ❤.
Tab, I know you heard this so many times before but, since you came into my life the healing I'm going through has helped me to strengthen my journey thank you so very much. The she's and Blacky

Lord another crying session your guess was a beautiful blessing Tab well as you and Chance!! I love these every Friday with Tab and Chance you guys bring on some Amazing guess!!! Terence was a Blessing with a huge heart he must have gotten it from his Mom and Grandma!
What I like most about this interview was the moments of vulnerability. Also, the new friendships that were able to be forged. This made me realized that I'm missing friendship in my life. I'm finally ready to be open and accepting of new people and friendships.
Tab, Chance and Terrence thank you for doing this. From the palest white girl, whose mama is a beautiful black woman, who was raised by a woman who could have passed for white. I love you and appreciate you ❤
Beautiful King!❤ As a dark skin woman, raised without a father in my life; his story really resonated with me. This also brought up so many emotions from my Mom passing 3yrs ago. Hearing other people's stories are truly helpful on this healing journey. Thank you!🙏🏾
Ms. Tabitha... Thank You & Mr. Chance For Having Such A Wonderful Guest/Friend/ Extended Family Member To Us All. What A Story.. Thank You & God Bless You All. This sharing was phenomenal. I too grew up without a closeness with my Dad but I too after many years was able to give him grace and forgiveness. God fixes things in his time and in his way. Stay woke because love and forgiveness heals broken hearts.
I'm finally getting the chance to watch this and oh my. First of all, all 3 of yall are beautiful with those gorgeous, show stopping, light up life smiles! Second...the way I cried the entire time, right along with this fine brotha, smh. This was DEEP! I experienced something similar with my dad so I could relate wholeheartedly. Tab & Chance, you guys are so healing and motivational. The words of wisdom and affirmations given have me all in my feelings. It's so refreshing to see such positivity and love amongst our people. Which is very needed bc I'm sure MANY of us have gone through traumatic, triggering situations. Prayers for everyone. 🙏🏿♥️😊🙏🏽♥️
