- Produced & Directed by Award Winning Producer & Director, Galvea Kelly from Ireland - brandnua / brandnua ........MY STORY: 6 hours after first arriving in Bucharest, I decided to make this short video to get to know the people, culture and city better. I intended on staying here 5 days but Bucharest charmed me enough to convince me to move here.
The past few months have been some of the most inspiring and gratifying of my life because of the amazing people that I have met and the friends that I have made in Romania.
Thank-you to my fantastic International team who made this video possible:
Diana Vidrascu - Director of Photography (Romanian)
John Ketchum - Associate Producer (Canadian)
Rebecca Rae Votta- Editor (American)
This production is a piece of the larger picture of "Fifty People, One Question" which was a series setup by Benjamin Reece and Nathan Heleine. The goals of the project are shown below. We are an independent company and not related to - fiftypeopleonequestion.com/ .
Fifty People One Question is an ongoing social experiment and film series exploring human connections through people and places. The project began in New Orleans in 2008 and has since traveled across the globe, touching millions of viewers. Along the way, the films have captured a small slice of humanity; to discover dreams, losses, reflections, stories and secrets, some shared and some completely unrepeatable. - บันเทิง
I was several times in Bucharest, and I can say it was pretty nice. You can still imagine the beautiful times when it was called the "Little Paris" of the east; not because of the buildings, because of the romance and peoples kindness... :)
Bucharest, a beautiful city, historical, mystical, original, charming, blesses for this great city, from a colombian whom respect them...God bless Romania
This video literally changed my life. Almost 4 years ago I was watching this video and daydreaming about traveling the world some day (as I did almost every day after work) only problem is I was tied to my job that did not allow time for such travels. As time went on and my longing for travel grew stronger and stronger, I found myself coming back to this video day after day for inspiration and strength. It wasn't long after that I quit my job, bought a ticket to Europe and took a huge leap of faith...looking back now I've been over much of Europe on 4 separate trips. Including some destinations such as. Monaco, Lisbon, Malaga, Rome, Munich, Hamburg, Malmö, Copenhagen, Amsterdam and many more places. I own nothing, I live to travel...I guess I Am what some people might consider a vegabond, but most importantly I am happy, I Am not rich but I am fulfilling my biggest dream and to me that is worth more than any amount of riches in this world. In part I have this video to thank! :)
+Typhoon Steam Cleaning you are rich indeed!!!keep on !!there are more to see,to explore..

Driving from Malpais to Montezuma awesome Costa Rica, and also awesome Romania such a beautiful place and people.
I love Bucharest , I hope to be friends someday, because we are similar people, just this way is too far because of the wars and politic (and primitiv nationalist haters).
Greetings from Hungary,Debrecen! :)

Sir, you did a great job! Congratulations and welcome to Romania!
why would you unlike this video? it is so beautiful, we have an amazing country with amazing and beautiful people ! I love Romania !
You know what`s great? The fact that a foreigner has to come to our country and wake our national pride up
This video really touched the Romanian side of me.
i`m a romanian established in california, and i really wanted to thank you for this beautiful footage.
Thank you as a romanian!
Love this video.I have never been to Romania but I have my life there somewhere in the northern part of Europe.I am coming soon.Watch out
Ce reclama de bun gust ! Superb !
Best video of all ... Romania ;)
Love this country, reminds me whats it looks like as I haven't been 8 years now....I will go back soon, and feel like I'm home again.
nicely produced
Thank you Galvea, every one was smiling! in your vid, that is my memory for now.

Beautifully shot sir. You've managed to make the place I was born in look gorgeous, vibrant and full of life with the people who spoke to the camera. Gonna watch the rest of this series! Merry Xmas.

Great job Kelly Galvea...nice to see sumthing like this...once in a while when u need it! ;)
the guy from Tecuci who was declared dead at a hospital and then came back to life clearly surpassed everyone else :))
Excellent video! I like how you managed to express a side from the city, which made me feel happy that I live here:). It makes you wanna go out and explore the place. We should see such videos more often.
Bravo!
This paints a much rosier image of Bucharest than the city deserves.....
Who else thinks that the guy @1:28 looks like Dumbledore? Moving back to the subject: Galvea, multumesc pentru ca ai facut un lucru pe care putini dintre noi suntem in stare sa-l facem!
Romania is a remarkable great country. My favorite sculptor is Romanian, Brancusi. The essential things of being. Some of the most beautiful books were written by Romanian authors. Remarkable great architecture in every part of every city can be found. The greatest poet ever lived: Mihai Eminescu. And possibly, the most beautiful race of females are Romanians. Justified by this clip.
I'M from Romania and i'm proud of it
Multumesc pentru piesa!
Well done Galvea. Great advertisement for Bucharest also.

Awsome! just awsome!
This is a gorge video, just fab, and made my Irish yeeow :) Bucharest looks amazing
I use to say that Romania is the country of all possibilities..
I was born in Bucharest, I grow up and lived there for 25 years and for me is the greatest place on the Earth. I say this not because i'm romanian, i say this because now i live in another country from Europe and i miss my town and my country so much. Living this experience i have seen that to be rich or clean is not the most important thing at one country.
i'm happy to say that i'm from romania!
thank you, Kelly:D !!!!

I cried. really.
Very beautiful movie Very good job Congrats this is bucharesti nice :D:D:
who came up with the fifty people one question idea from the beginning?! it's genius!
Sweetheart of Kairi - Approaching Farewell (Stumbleine Remix)
that is the song!!!thumbs up so everyone can see!
No one said that Bucharest doesn't have darker... aspects, too. But this video is, I think, about the things that impressed the author in a good way :)
If you think that you live in ''another bucharest than this'', maybe you really do. Maybe you live in what you choose to see, and if the bad parts are all you choose to aknowledge...
then that's all that you get.
But that doesn't mean that nicer aspects don't exist.
nice vid
Greetings from Romania :D
Agree
I was adopted from here when I was 11 months old.
And where u live now?! :)
good question
UK maybe or USA they use to adopt a lots of kids from Romania
USA
Alexa Person bought not adopted :D
1:51 RESPECT!
Congratz Kelly Galvea for the video! Also the last name Galvea seems romanian, are u connected somehow to Romania?
By the way, in Romania you learn 1 foreign language since kindergarden and in most cases that is english(because is an international language) and at school you study 2 foreign language obligatory(english/france/german) so at the end of high school you can speak good english 4 example unlike other countrys where you go and and you have to speak their language because they don't know english or another foreign language..
Yes, rose colored glasses are wonderful, but let's not fool ourselves about Bucuresti. Yes, there are some nice parts and the author did a nice job of making Bucuresti look nice. But the poster you respond to, Mihail Spire, is absolutely correct.
I miss you sweet city ;(
can u please tell me which soundtack is used in this video...its amazing
@GalveaKelly what camera did you use? Canon 5d mark ii?
Is anyone able to find out what song is playing in the background? It is so good!
bun domne, bun ...film
the guy at 4:29 really made this worth watching.
