i think the old lady was cute ..she had such a soft and kind voice ,,,
I love how melodic the norwegian language is
Wow that was a really annoying long intro
I would want to wake up in front of the door of the apartment of the man who would be the love of my life, so that I would only have to wait until he gets out to finally say "Hi!" to him, to slowly get to know him, to discover his inner beauty, to fall in love with him and to love him every day as if there would be no tomorrow. That is by far the biggest dream I have for my life which until now was a very hard and painful life for me. I see people who don't realize for themselves what a beautiful ordinary life they have which I would like to have too one day. I mean, really, what is life worth to live for if not for true love?
be strong and live your life the way you want if people judge you its not your fault ..."my sister is lesbian and i have seen how much pain she have had in her life ..but now that she found her love she is happy and free :)"
If the musical introduction is too long for you, skip to 1:40.
Never wake up in Las Vegas. Bad things
watch hangover the movie and you will probably understand
he was cute, actually )
Tamara Molko I can hook you up with him ;)
- Waxy - haha , ok :d
I understand that, It's a fantastic country! And come to live here whole life long!
I came from South Asia, i am studying in Germany, and now I am in love with Norway, people are so sweet.
Best Looking and best attitude video in this series!
Norwegian love everyone. That's why i'm proud to be a part of this country. I'm originally from Iraq and I live here for almost 6 years now and I never had it better than now. Peaceful country which gives me the rights like any other Norwegian person and no one is better than anyone else here. I love this country and a lot of the immigrants I know here love this country too. In my eyes, Norway is the best country ever :)
So far i found cheapest way to get to Norway is go to Dublin Ireland then to Oslo. Around $625 USA bucks.Cheaper than Amsterdam then Oslo that is $750.
"Take the person out of the country but not the country out of the person"
That's why many people in America cling to their ancestral heritages.
they all looked a bit scared at first alll of them... but at the end they seemed like they wanted to talk more...:)
Yes, very. Their classic song "what else is there" is fantastic still. I'd buy that song as an introduction to Royksopp.
I'd love to live in Norway someday.
aww the guy who wants to wake up next to the girl that he's deeply in love with..is sooo sweet
This is nice. =] it's interesting that so many people said that they would stay in Norway. It must be quite a lovely place.
I would wake up on a pile of leaves, in the yard/garden that the house I grew up in stands on, in the autumn; I could smell the sweet smell of fallen leaves wafting up through my nostrils, at midnight, with the moon very bright in the sky; there would be a gentle breeze that requires the embrace of a fair-faced, smiling lover. Oh, Chicago.
Norwegians are largely very nice people. Shame about the music in this video, it ruined it for me.
All the dumbass Americanized people ruined it for me.
***** 3 people said the USA... lol is it a crime to want to come to the States? Get over yourself
***** Responses bearing hostility such as this reflect poorly on our world and our species as a whole. What is so difficult about the concept of educating instead of insulting and degrading another person? Ignorance begets ignorance, and the two of you may be forming a circle. Try not to chase each other's tails, you are both better than that.
Gedevo So now you're the spokesperson for all of humanity?
Do you even know either of us?
Let me propose something else, that perhaps narrow minded and pretentious conformists on the internet, are a much more degenerative force to humanity than whatever overblown title you've deemed yourself worthy of placing on a conversation that had nothing to do with you.
Maybe if you invest more energy into not being a condescending hypocrite that no one likes, you'll find yourself with a richer, and perhaps much more productive life.
The only one giving or attempting to give me a title is you. I don't need or want a title. Furthermore, read the rest of your post, then re-read your original post. You described yourself. I hope you find some semblance if happiness or inner peace. If all this animosity is your inner peace, well I am happy to have fed your eager soul. Enjoy your life Mr. Oberlander.
I want to wake up in Oslo, having my master's degree programme in Physics...
there is beauty in every part of the world. you should look beyond what you dislike. and forgive the cliche, but the grass is always greener, no?
Very good film! I love it!
The woman with the bicycle...her accent was so beautiful!
PEACE AND LOVE
I want to wake up in Chile, having my PhD in astrophysics and working at one of the telescopes on my own research. What a wonder it is to dream of dreams.
I just didn't understand the end of the video...where they went in the end of video ? ...just away? or it had any high idea? ..
They just interviewed people on the street, so when they were done the people went the way they were going when they were stopped.
aw, that old woman with the bike was so sweet :)
But it's so different from Norway. It would be a whole new experience. Very exciting.
Damn you Norway and your perfect utopia of happiness
She says "peaceful" but in a different meaning. She actually says "stillhet" which directly translates to somewhere silent. Silent peaceful. Probably thinking of relaxing somewhere quiet :)
Amen to that.
In the nature reserves it's very peaceful and safe. You know, like Masai Mara/Serengeti for instance? And in the big cities like Nairobi, Mombasa or tanzanian cities, security guards are on every corner keeping tourists safe. Political turmoils never reach tourists in guarded hotels or lodges, so no worries there, just enjoy the wildlife and scenery!: )
j aime ce pays et ces belle creature, i like this country
Love you Norge! Love from New Zealand.
Ahh, Lillestrøm Bussterminal. Savner dette sted så mye :(
Great your videos
So calm, happy, polite people :)
I'd wake up in Norway. Not Oslo or any major city, but some isolated place more north, i'd have a little house in a deep dark forest all to myself
i would like to wake up in oslo, yeah! i will be there soon
Id wake up in Italy. See the sea. get sum of that good ole nature sensation
On a boat with a bed, because then I can choose again !
AAAH OMG the guy at 2:11 must be the cutest ever omg. Listen to what he says about that girl omg so cute
Id wake up in NORWAY!!!!
Is there a name for that opening song?
You forgot to mention most alcohols are sold in state-owned liquor stores, like in Sweden and Finland...
Herregud introduksjonen - BLI FERDIG!
3:18 Is that Tora Berger's grandmother? She's got such a sweet little voice!
I live in San Francisco Bay and it's much nicer here than in Hollywood or Las Vegas. Norway is probably better than here, honestly. I guess the our grass seems greener.
I know this is a stock song, but from where? Is it just some random song from Final Cut Pro?
not sure, but sounds like tommy emmanuel to me
I actually did a little bit of Googling and found that it is called "Acoustic Sunrise". It's from Apple's iMovie stock collection.
when?
If I could wake up anywhere,,,,,,,,1983
the grass is always greener on the other side ^.^
no the english education that we gets in school is actually ok we learn it from class 7 (we start in class 1 when we are 6 or 7 year old) to when we go to uni where we can (if we pass a test they let us do it if we do not they ask us to reconsider it and most people actually finish it then) choose if we want to go on to finish it
i must admit that american media is bombarding us altough we are seeing a trend of people listen to indie more and more like e.g royksopp
very interesting question to ask the citizens of a county that has one of the highest living standards in the whole world..
What's Oslo like?
@Aspekitteh Ever noticed that the landscape in Norway and New Zealand is pretty darn similar sometimes? :3
You should try some place up North like Kirkenes, or south like Kristiansand
Great video !!
2:34 does he mean the philippines? that'd be so cool... i'm half filipino half norwegian.
wow i just watched the whole video! 4:37 he's filipino too
"Somewhere in africa, out in the nature. Somewhere peaceful."
The translation there is somewhat misleading. She said "where its quiet".
Honestly, I don't want to wake up anywhere on this planet. There are some good places, but they're just not good enough for me.
That would have been a difficult question for anyone raised in Norway since the system starts teaching kids at around 4 yrs old that they should all think, live, eat, sleep, act...exactly the same--"the Norwegian way" (the only "normal" way).
+whatinthewerld Hah! The ting that taught me that I should be just like everyone else was american movies! I had problems getting friends at school and I lost friends because tried (and failed) to be like everyone else. When I grew into an individual person and completely different than all the stereotypes in the american movies, I started getting the best friends I've ever had and that was when I realized that if I had just done what everyone around me had told me always, I wouldn't have had any problems in my childhood. And no, I'm not trying to blame america for my own stupidity, I'm just simply telling you how wrong you are.
Bergen is really pretty, but it only stops raining for 14 days of the year!
Bergen?
What is the song at the start? xD
Norway people is so cool
exactly. i don't think either should be illegal, but it makes more sense that alcohol would be illegal instead of weed. it's very odd... i'm not even a big weed advocate, but i think it should be legal. i'm more into psychedelics myself
u mean Gold Coast?
I am sorry to hear that. That show is ridiculous. Even people from New Jersey hate it...;-)
nobody on these really asks very dark or meaningful questions, it's a shame. I like the one on Pink Floyd they used for the 'Dark Side of the Moon' backing voices ...which were "When was the last time you were violent?" and "Were you in the right?" ...need some deeper darker Q's!
I would wanna wake up in a pent house in the middle of new york. View of the entire city and a big pool at the top of the skyscraper =)
That made me shiver, really. =/
I'd want to wake up in Norway.
Tahiti is my favourite place too: ) But in this video, it was only the young girls who answered Hollywood, wasn't it? Most people said "my own bed" and that's cool. It says in Wikipedia that Norway is the best country to live in in the whole world. But of course not climatewise. I doubt that many of those people had stayed at home a whole winter there, they tend to travel a lot to warmer places then:)
Good words for someone planning to visit Norway. There's always some backward person who won't want you to be in there country :D i have been in Dubai, Kenya, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, Angola, Egypt & my country Uganda believe me i have always met someone complaining. Norway is my next stop & i hope to meet many of them :D they are welcome i will buy them a drink for being childish :D
I would want to wake up in a world with no religion
Yep, that's norway for ya
Why do you think that?
I can't believe how long that intro was.........
come to palawan philippines!
+ging embradura Will you wait for me
+ging embradura Will you wait for me
sure ,why not?! :)
I would have to say this was interesting specially the older folks most of them would rather wake up in their own bed and I agree.
strue, im a stoner and i live in america, but im from norway and went back and its apparently like really illegal, even weed
Hey, small update, I got a summer research position in astrophysics. I'm doing it! :)
Yeah - it's fucking cold up there, rain and snow most times.
I'd like to go Paris , France and Greenland.
i would also love to wake up in palawan!!!!
and you say that based on ...?
Norwegians seem socially awkward but very nice.
Why barely of the Norwegians don't love their country, It's shameful for a country as good as this one. Heartbreaking :'c
Surprised to hear one guy say Palawan Island. That's all the way in the Philippines.
Norwegians talk very fast. They Say U.S.A. but fast so you might hear usha...Our words float in to each-other as well...
Haha, The hole world loves America!
Behold! Aslan has spoken!
(at least I think thats what your avatar is?)
the first guy is cute :)
nice people
Where in Norway was this shot?
Miley Cyrus The city is called Lillestrøm
In your pocket
@113Gems Thank you :)
Nice video, takk!
The translation is kinda bad. "stillheten" in her context is better translated into "tranquil"
