It's always the same. Juries love the Estonian, Belorussian, Czech, SM kind of song. Pop always works with them.
Hungary 2017/2018 were under-paced by jury votes, and they might haven't qualify for the same.
They don't like the 'exotics' songs like Telemóveis too.

It wasn't a surprise that Iceland, Cyprus and Czech got through. Their performances lived up to their songs.
Australia and Greece really did up their game and delivered a performance that even surpass their original recording.
Zena's vocals really improved so Belarus had a fighting chance
I have to give it to Serhat for pushing through because I think he may have been sick which affected his vocals, so well done to San Marino
Victor was also a bit shaky but that didn't hold back the storm. Congrats to Estonia too.
I didn't expect Slovenia and Serbia to make it to the finals, but the public weren't wrong in choosing them. Especially since they both had great performances too.

Cyprus and Czech were criticized because of their performances and some said they are replaceable ( not underserving though)
While Iceland is great, they didn’t do their best

Australia was indeed the best of the night. A lot of people say they are number 1
Belarus, Serbia surprise me. They have vocals that really convince me. I don’t know why Belarus is criticized though

Slovenia really bores me, and they were one of the least talked so i was surprised by the popularity in here. I would have had it replaced by Portugal/Georgia/Hungary/Poland, but it is still deservable
Unlike Estonia and San Marino, 2 of the most hated song right now. Good for them though.
