As someone who prefers "Stay", "Forever Young" and "Don't Know What To Do" to the more bombastic "Kill This Love" and "How You Like That", I can say that I really, really enjoy "Lovesick Girls".

Yes I always feel so bad because I don’t like their recent songs. It just feels like they were made for radio play and the lyrics were repetitive and kind of boring. This song however is just so good.
YASSSS up until duddu-duddu it was fine, but after that i don't really enjoy their comeback until lovesick girls came!
@@tenerife_sea The way I felt about Kill This Love until the chorus....man. The song is perfect but they had to do Jennie wrong and give her ridiculous lines instead of actual lyrics.
I feel the same. Dx4 was fire but once they kept copy pasting the same formula I got bored and uninterested.
@@christophermichael7997 It's funny actually, because I'm a big Reveluv and they are KNOWN for repetitive gibberish lyrics but for some reason it really works for them...

This song feels so much like debut BP and that makes me so happy. I haven’t liked the last few songs they have released which I feel so bad saying. I can’t wait to hear the rest of the album and hope it sounds more like this then HYLT and Ice Cream.

Yes, I feel you. This song and the rest of it feels like debut BP which I always love. I'm not hating on the girls, but the last few songs they have released sounds like they're using the same formula. I think what makes this album so different from the previous comeback is because the members (jennie and jisoo) participated in writing and producing the songs. This album show their true color, and if I have to say, it also more public friendly to listen to.
It's those songs that make you feel happy and sad at the same time.
This is what happen when yg let them write a song. I believed in Jensoo songwriters♡
Yeah it reminded me a lot of early YG as well and early 2NE1 even.. This is on the same lane as Crooked, Ugly, Go Away, to name a few.. The girls acted the hell out of their scenes and their vulnerability is so palpable.. the melody is full of hope but the lyrics is sad.. The feels are so real on this one..
