Although Star Wars ‘technically’ began on May 25th, 1977 (The day the first ‘Star Wars’ movie came out and began the franchise), what matters is not the ‘day’ we choose to celebrate but to recognize a worldwide pop culture phenomenon that has made Star Wars one of the highest grossing media franchises of all time (Just behind ‘Pokemon’ and ‘Mickey Mouse and Friends’) and the second highest-grossing film franchise (A few million behind the Marvel Cinematic Universe). Aside from all the movies, we’ve seen numerous Star Wars characters introduced through various television series, video games, novels, comic books, theme parked attractions, themed areas, you name it, and you’ll find that this one fictional universe continues to grow as the lore branches out through all the best moments they can offer… and some of the worst. In celebration of May the 4th, 30 of the characters who make up the franchise (Some you may know, and others just making appearances) gather together to decide which of them will emerge as the latest champion to enter this season’s champion’s rumble. In the end, the Dark Side have dominated the majority of this match and a Sith would emerge as the victor… but not the one you might be expecting. Today’s winner is none other than Darth Adraas, though some of you may be thinking, ‘Who?’. According to sources, Adraas was a human male Sith Lord around the time of the Great Galactic War (Not to mention a rival of participant Darth Malgus) who was instrumental in the Battle of Ord Radama and the Sacking of Coruscant. Though Adraas was an arrogant man, he was skilled at political manipulation and like many Sith Lords had misgivings about aliens. Adraas was a skilled Sith warrior, though his favor of politics over combat would see his defeat and death at the hands of Malgus (Luckily, that wasn’t the case with this match). Still, a Sith more powerful than many Jedi at the Temple of Coruscant demonstrates that he is definitely a competitor our current champions should keep a careful watch on as we could very well see the next competitor become the newest Ricky J. rumbles champion. But who was my MVP of this May the 4th rumble? Let’s get down to the numbers: Of the thirty characters featured in this rumble, only fourteen competitors secured the most eliminations. The highest count of the day reached ‘4’ eliminations, which is three points higher than the average ‘1’ elimination. I give the Golden MVP Award for ‘best’ performance to: Darth Adraas I may not be the greatest Star Wars fan in the media, ask me any ‘Star Wars’ question at Trivia Night (Without sources to use) and you’ll get a vacant stare. But while he did not perform as long as Master Yoda nor a Stormtrooper of all people, between himself including Yoda and runner-up Darth Maul, I would show my support for Adraas because he held his ground against everyone thrown at him (Even ‘possibly’ his own allies). Do I believe this guy has what it takes to win the champion’s rumble? That I cannot say for sure, but considering the fact that he is just as skilled in the force as the other Sith and Jedi, I wouldn’t ignore the possibility that he’s at least a competent competitor. Considering all the surprises that we’ve seen take place in ‘this’ rumble, that says a lot. The Dull Participation Medal for the ‘lamest’ performance goes to: Riley2-D2 I had to make sure I was checking this right, to see if there was a grammatical error and that this was meant to be R2-D2, the droid who aided the rebels. I look at this competitor and it looks more like Star Wars had decided to make a humanoid hologram form for the droid or some cosplayer who couldn’t get the costume just right. But either way you look at it… yikes, this dude performed much worse than ‘The Worst C3PO’. It’s one thing to hang in the ring with your favorite characters, but it is another to recognize when you’re just ‘over your head’. Or in this guy… head over the ring and all his dreams of being in the champion’s rumble… dashed. If I were to give a bonus shout-out during this match for some guys in the match… technically Darth Sidious and Emperor Palpatine are pretty much the same guy, just as Anakin Skywalker is Darth Vader (Humorously they were in the same ring together). But while Skywalker actually got an elimination while Vader didn’t, supposedly one of the most powerful villains came in twice… and lost the match twice with absolutely ‘nothing’ to show for it. Hell, I would expect Jarr-Jarr Binks to perform better than the ‘Emperor’ or even Kylo Ren (Or as some fans would call a knock-out Anakin Skywalker). The force proved strong for Darth Adraas as he makes his way to join his fellow winners this season. Will we see another major franchise play a role in these rumble series? Will we see more surprise performances moving forward? Will we see another ‘Double Vision’ moment take place during the next match? But the biggest question of them all: Who’s next?
10:35 I thought for sure you were gonna say that "Jabba the Hutt in the best shape of his life." That is one of your catchphrases! lol BTW: The Carbonite Crusher would be a good name for a finishing move or nickname.
Another awesome Rumble Ricky. Jango Fett is Boba Fett's dad as you find out in Star Wars: Attack Of The Clones. Also he was the person who the clones were cloned from.
Fun little tidbit: My name is difficult for some to pronounce, and so they call me Dozie for short. So at my old job, they would call me Dozie Wan Kenobi, and it stuck!😂
@@RickyJSports It like May 4 instead of May the force be with but May 6th is May the sith be with you or celebrate Revenge of the Sith but yeah that's what it is

The dark side prevails! Join the Darth Side exclusive club! No Jedis allowed! Stormtrooper at # 1 for MVP lasting for well over twenty minutes and several eliminations should earn him a spot on the MVP rumble! Well done Ricky great rumble! May the 4th be with you always!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Cheers, Mike L 😎🇨🇦✌🏼
Props to Jason McCourty for surviving Good Morning Football today. It was rough for him not being a fan of Star Wars. He thought Luke's father was the Stormtroopers.
May the 4th be with you brother!! Awesome match. Loved the ring. But still no Jar Jar Binks??? Can you feel me force choking you? I find your lack of Jar Jar uncanny. :). Thanks for posting so many great content.
No Jar Jar but the same actor played Kellerin Beck (not sure if spelled correctly) who did appear in the Royal Rumble. Too bad we didn't get to see him and Jar Jar go toe to toe.
Too bad Chewbacca went out like that. I much prefer his ending in the Star Wars Legends Canon. He is on Sernpidal, having just saved the son of Han Solo when he is blown away from the Millennium Falcon by incredible winds. Having civilians on the ship, Anakin Solo wasn't able to get back to Chewie without killing everyone on the Falcon. In the final panel of the graphic novel version of the book, Chewbacca stands, arms reaching to the heavens, clenched fist and lets loose an intense growl as a moon crashes upon him. His last act was saving his best friends son and he faced down a damn moon. What a G.
I just thought, after seeing Bob Marley in a recent rumble, about special moves that could be used by famous singers: 1) Bob himself- Buffalo Soldier (charging headbutt, much like a spear) 2) Elvis Presley- Blue Suede Shoes (a high kick, like Sweet Chin Music) 3) Meatloaf- Bat Out Of Hell (flying dive-tackle) 4) Alice Cooper- Poison (quick spray to opponent's face) 5) Elton John- Crocodile Rock (snap your opponent between your arms and roll them over like a crocodile would do) 6) Colin Hay from Men At Work- Down Under (go below your opponent's legs, lift and throw)
It's a Mandela Effect about what Darth Vader said to Luke. Those of us who grew up with SW distinctly KNOWS that Vader said "Luke, I am your father." It was such a powerful moment in not just Star Wars but all of cinema at the time because it changed the entire perception of the movies.
Here's the most common theory about how the misquote Mandela'ed its way into pop culture. In 1980 there of course was no internet or streaming. Even VCRs weren't very common (if they existed at all) and it would be years before video rentals became a thing. So basically all you had to go by was memory of the time you saw it in theater. So why did so many people's memories fail them as it relates to the famous movie quote? The common theory is that people added "Luke" to give the quote a bit more context. If they simply said "I am your father." or "No, I am your father." out of context a lot of people would likely fail to recognize the quote. But adding "Luke" not only added the necessary context but made it more dramatic. The movie had John Williams' score, Hamill's acting, Jones' voice acting and the dialogue leading up to it to create the drama. You don't get all that when quoting so saying Luke's name helps make it a bit more dramatic. Over the years so many people heard the misquote so many times that they just assumed that's what it was and accepted it as such.
The fam will love this one, especially my wife. She's a huuuugeee Star Wars fan.. Me, not so much. She claims our youngest son is named aft FinnF1287. I disagree. He's named after Finn Balor, the first Universal Champion, and founder of Bullet Club. hahaha great rumble, Ricky!
Jango Fett was the templet for the Clone Troopers, Boba Fett was the unaltered clone/son of Jango, the Mandalorian, Din Djanin is a whole different character. Darth Sidious/Palpatine is the same person. Would of love to seen Captain Rex, Commander Cody, Fives or other named Clone Troopers besides a random Stormtrooper.
That was a brilliant rumble I am a Star Wars fan but have no idea who the winner was! Another shocking winner from these rumbles but have been really enjoying them I think the royalist of rumbles will have a shocking winner as well
Jango Fett was the one who was used as the original who was replicated to make the Clones/Stormtroopers. Star Wars Episode 2 Father of Boba Fett. The Mandalorian takes place 5 years before Return of the Jedi Episode 6 Different characters
Hello Mr Ricky J. watched the Star Wars rumble and you have a lot of cool rumbles but this one is definitely my favorite and when it came to the names you had everyone of them correct and about the phrase from Empire strikes back yes you are correct it is no I am your father. also jango Fett and the Mandalorian are two separate people. Jango Fett was a clone and the Mandalorian was an ordinary person raised by the Mandalorians as a child
you were right, some of them did come from the games, Darth Sion (which you said his name right) is from Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords 👍
Reel 2 dialogue 2 for THX1138. As they were working on Star Wars the film from THX1138 was near by and they saw it as they were coming up with the name for the droid.

Darth Sidious/Emperor Palpatine trying to pull a Mick Foley-esque multiple entry trick 🤣
By the way, I was amused by the reference to Darth Vader not being a "big guy." Vader was originally played by David Prowse, who was six foot six. So much of the original character was about his physical presence. Even Hayden Christensen is bigger than he looks (six foot), but they actually built a special suit for him as Vader with extensions to help him match that original looming size.

But the biggest question of them all:
Who’s next?
Legend!!
10:35 I thought for sure you were gonna say that "Jabba the Hutt in the best shape of his life." That is one of your catchphrases! lol
BTW: The Carbonite Crusher would be a good name for a finishing move or nickname.
True Star Wars celebrate every day
Another awesome Rumble Ricky. Jango Fett is Boba Fett's dad as you find out in Star Wars: Attack Of The Clones. Also he was the person who the clones were cloned from.
Technically Boba was also a clone, albeit one Jango treated as a son
Pitfall was freaking awesome for its time. I remember being so amazed by that game when I was little
Fun little tidbit: My name is difficult for some to pronounce, and so they call me Dozie for short. So at my old job, they would call me Dozie Wan Kenobi, and it stuck!😂
Yoda Reminds me of MR.Miyagi.lmao
You should do a Goonies Rumble. ^^
Might have to use skeletons of One-Eyed Willie and his crew to make 30 but that would be cool!
This was awesome can't wait to see if you do May 6 be with you
Haha what is may 6th?
May 6th AKA Revenge of the Sith. Used to be May 5th but 6 sounds closer to Sith.
@@RickyJSports It like May 4 instead of May the force be with but May 6th is May the sith be with you or celebrate Revenge of the Sith but yeah that's what it is
I was at first movie I'm old but I was there ❤
I Love this Rumble I am a huge star wars fan
This arena is awesome
Game Theory: Stormtrooper is Finn in disguise. He killed it. I think he used the force.
What about Qui-Gon, Bobba Fett, Mace, Kylo, Cal, Moff, Thrawn so many missed that would have been better than having 20 Darths
Yes! I needed this today! Just went for a vasectomy.
Wow I hope.u r okay
No.more.kids for poppa!!
I had a vasectomy because I didn't want kids, but when I got home they were still there 😮
1. We need more Theme Rumbles on this channel.
2. I truly believe that Ricky can win a Rumble with a 100 overall character entering at number one against 29 different 30 overall characters.
3. Someone please let me know when Calvin and Hobbs are in a Rumble.
Do a Spaceball -- Rumble oh s** t there go the Rumble ! LOL
🌟🌟🌟🌟
Cheers,
Mike L 😎🇨🇦✌🏼
Props to Jason McCourty for surviving Good Morning Football today. It was rough for him not being a fan of Star Wars. He thought Luke's father was the Stormtroopers.
35:38 Is it possible that Luke Skywalker was disguised as the royal guard the whole time?
Definitely Yoda for mvp rumble.
Second generation robotic droid r2d2 there u go rj❤
Ferengis and harry and the hendersons what a blast from the past
May the 4th be with you brother!! Awesome match. Loved the ring. But still no Jar Jar Binks??? Can you feel me force choking you? I find your lack of Jar Jar uncanny. :). Thanks for posting so many great content.
No Jar Jar but the same actor played Kellerin Beck (not sure if spelled correctly) who did appear in the Royal Rumble. Too bad we didn't get to see him and Jar Jar go toe to toe.
in the rumble are Two Anakin’s: One is the Normal and the other one Is Evil(Darth Vader)
A week away from my brithday this is awesome! Thank you ricky! Keep on rockin brother!!!!!
Aww man, I was rooting for Darth Maul. Funny is, even as a Star Wars Fan I never heard of Darth Adrass before. 😅
The Force is strong with this Rumble
May the fourth be with you. This is the May
big star wars fan what an absolute blast sorry i am so far behind ricky j but i will catch up soon!!!
Thx dude!!
Star Wars fans know the most dangerous character is Chopper...
Darth Maul has been and forever will be my favorite character in the Star Wars universe! So sad to see him lose at the end.
Darth Silon looks like
The Toxic Adventure
Plus the wampa beast has two arms
Darth Madras, the hottest thing a ring can endure.
What a G.
I just thought, after seeing Bob Marley in a recent rumble, about special moves that could be used by famous singers:
1) Bob himself- Buffalo Soldier (charging headbutt, much like a spear)
2) Elvis Presley- Blue Suede Shoes (a high kick, like Sweet Chin Music)
3) Meatloaf- Bat Out Of Hell (flying dive-tackle)
4) Alice Cooper- Poison (quick spray to opponent's face)
5) Elton John- Crocodile Rock (snap your opponent between your arms and roll them over like a crocodile would do)
6) Colin Hay from Men At Work- Down Under (go below your opponent's legs, lift and throw)
It's a Mandela Effect about what Darth Vader said to Luke. Those of us who grew up with SW distinctly KNOWS that Vader said "Luke, I am your father." It was such a powerful moment in not just Star Wars but all of cinema at the time because it changed the entire perception of the movies.
It’s always been “No, I am your Father”
Wheres the ewoks?
Jabba The Hutt diet: Lose Pounds and grow legs.
Another shocking winner from these rumbles but have been really enjoying them I think the royalist of rumbles will have a shocking winner as well
The Worst C3PO is actually Edge, dressed as Conquistadore #2, pretending to be C3PO...
Jango Fett was the one who was used as the original who was replicated to make the Clones/Stormtroopers.
Star Wars Episode 2
Father of Boba Fett.
The Mandalorian takes place 5 years before Return of the Jedi Episode 6
Different characters
Hello Mr Ricky J. watched the Star Wars rumble and you have a lot of cool rumbles but this one is definitely my favorite and when it came to the names you had everyone of them correct and about the phrase from Empire strikes back yes you are correct it is no I am your father. also jango Fett and the Mandalorian are two separate people. Jango Fett was a clone and the Mandalorian was an ordinary person raised by the Mandalorians as a child
Thx for the reply skywalker
I couldn't believe I got the names right!
@@RickyJSports No problem your totally welcome
you were right, some of them did come from the games, Darth Sion (which you said his name right) is from Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords 👍
I'm old school. I watched Return of the Jedi in the theaters. I don't know many other characters from the prequels or mandalorian.
Loving this new random season Ricky J. How bout 16th episode u throw all the first and second entries from previous 15 rumbles
The world is going to end, a Storm trooper actually hit something. Also no Qui Gon Jin or Jar Jar Binks?
Reel 2 dialogue 2 for THX1138. As they were working on Star Wars the film from THX1138 was near by and they saw it as they were coming up with the name for the droid.
