can i know what is modded for keyboard
The switches ( and stabilizers) are already pre lubed so that propably doesnt make much of a difference (or it does but overlube is bad for the switches and feel)
I have the same keyboard did the tape mod and now my side lights don’t work anymore😭
You just covered the leds on sides of the PCB with tape, no permanet damage, don't worry.
Maybe take it off? 💀

Is there a big diffrence if you use electrical tape istead of paper tape?
electrical tape is much stronger and you might damage the board or even tear off something
