@lanovyr2497 part of the great thing about the fps weapon insurance was the QoL it was a simple button press to get all of it back if I have to spend time crafting I might as well go to the shop and buy it it's just not as streamlined sure it'll be cool if I'm out in the verse but I rather what we had and knowing cig it'll take the 5yrs to add crafting and it'll be in a awful state that isn't as good as you think

It killed the turret gun fast!!! 1.5 magazines!!! Foxy, when it drops the guns like that it’s dead. That’s as fast as a rail gun. Your ship was shot when you damaged the turret gun.
I'm pretty sure I remember being flabbergasted that this thing shoots blue electricity instead of something like red flak. Laser does fit better. Between this and the Deadrig shotgun I hope to see more of this cobbled-up jury-rigged aesthetics. A pistol would be nice too.
Another great example of CIG messy development. They are supposed to deliver "Charge and Drain" functionality in next version especially for fire extinguishers. So now they are delivering a new weapon with a specific non rechargeable battery they will probably never update in the future.
I also love this concept. I don't have one, but it's fun. I mean, if this is a rigged Multitool, shouldn't it take the multitool batteries? Seems logical. It would be fun at some point if there was a place in Pyro you could take a multitool to have it 'converted'. Wonder how long until the larger tractor rifles end up being an actual fps weapon. This was fun to watch.
Would be interesting to see if it's effectiveness changes with different armor types, almost seems like it was only effective against the heavy armor weak spots.
So it seems like the main body was indeed salvaged from MaxLift Tractor Beam - the same part on Cambio SRT is gray, not yellow. And the hit detection seems to be _very_ wonky - at 4:54 you got hit in the leg, but got an arm injury 🤷♂
if you look really closely at the spread pattern of this gun you will actually notice that it is a square like every other guns spread pattern in sc fps and ships its all square
"Reeper" is spelled like this "reeper", Foxy. Ripper is pronounced "rip-er," as in ripping a piece of cloth. Not reeping (doesn't exist) a piece of cloth.
There is some serious desync there I managed to win 3 rounds on star marine with teh ripper but anyone comes in with a karna or P8-AR and its near impossible to win
Maybe the Volt guns announced since several years will work in the same way. It is a bit strange to put a new gun as a reward for a temporary mission. This should be a permanent reward.
I love this gun, it is crazy fun. Wish we could get more of them for when I inevitably lose mine.

will be useful for popping liberated cargo holds without wasting ammo if the batteries become chargeable with "Charge and Drain"

Cool gun. I would try shooting it wearing different armor and no armor. Some of the armor parts have been iffy before with damage.
