If there were a part 2 to this story, the older fool would find out she's been cheating on him the entire time. She's been giving him the passionless, vanilla, boring "fun", while using him to FUND her happiness through material objects. Meanwhile, her side-guy gets a much better performance from her. Jane, although much younger than Kevin, was attracted to him. This scenario is quite common. A woman's prime is in her 20's. A guy's prime begins around 30. An older, mature, established man can be quite attractive to a young lady, especially if he keeps fit and looks younger than he actually is. Still, the age gap between Kevin and Jane was a bit excessive.

In short, an ideal wife for MC.
Can we make the stories more linear, with less flashbacks and present updates? If it was mentioned in context it would be easier to follow, the sudden back and forth here gave me whiplash.
