Hello, I'm thinking of buying a Jeti DS12, but I'm confused by the optional upgrades. I wonder what the transmitter can do in the base, can it fine-tune the servos? Set the safety switch to the engine and what about the audible warning? Or are these all functions that have to be purchased from Jeti?

I think that the basic version does not have servo balancer but it does have servo travel end-points, it has alarms but not voice output on demand. Engine safety switch will be included.

Hello Harry, would you be able to direct me to a video that would show me how to view the saved telemetry from my transmitter on a personnel computer? I don't have the capability to view the telemetry on my DS12 screen, so I'll need to use the USB cable to connect to my PC. Specifically, I want to see what the low battery voltage was that triggered a Low Receiver Voltage Warning I got while I was flying my airplane the last time I flew. .FYI, I use four NiMh AA batteries in series rated at 2,000 mA. The Battery Pack peaks out at around 6 Volts after I charge it and reads about 5.5 Volts on my DS12 Transmitter Screen via the telemetry. It may be that the internal resistance of this type of battery is too high with the current draw of seven servos and a Telemetry Receiver such as the REX7. Anyhow, I want to view exactly what low voltage value triggered the warning. Thank you for your help.

Thank you for the reply. The seven servo model was being flow for the past three years with a Spectrum DX7, the Spectrum AR7000 Receiver, and a 4-cell 1100 mAh NiCad battery pack. The only change I recently made regarding the electronics was to switch to the Jeti DS-12 and REX7 Assist Receiver. I heard that the Assist Receiver may cause more of a demand on the battery, so I bought a 2000 mAh NiMh battery, thinking that the additional 900 mAh would be enough. However, it may be that the NiMh battery chemistry has a higher internal resistance than the NiCad batteries had and they can't handle the larger current draw watthour a drop in Voltage. Anyhow, I'm going through a learning curve. Thank God I haven't crashed my airplane because of an inferior battery type. I'm using older Analog Servos, so I didn't switch to a LiFe battery pack because that would push the battery Voltage above 6 Volts and the servos weren't designed to work on over 6 Vols. If you have any suggestions please let me know what they are .Like I said, I'm still learning to adapt to the newer electronics and battery types.@@cotswoldpilot

Hi Harry - There are a few of us who can't get telematry out of our Master Spin Pro 220 / SPIN 300 PRO OPTO , we've tried changing the alternative pin to Jetibx/Sensor - Ex Bus - Ex Bus input/Backup but none of it works, but when we put another device in the alternative plus then that device works but we can't get Master Spin pro/SPIN 300 PRO OPTO to work . do you have a suggestion ?

Sorry, got bad news for you. The Spin telem can only be seen in Jetibox. You can view it in the Jetibox emulator in the Tx but it is not user friendly at all. None of it is available for alarms, display, logging etc. Jeti has 3 telemetry protocols - Jetibox, Ex, ExBus. Jetibox is the original system and is now very old. Either fit a MUI, or change to Mezon controllers to get Ex or Exbus telemetry.

@@cotswoldpilot Many thanks for the quick reply!! I had thought that maybe that was why, but it surprises me when they write the following in their instructions.. "With the aid of the JetiBox the controllers SPIN PRO provide the possibility of depicting
the controller status in real time. The JR plug with red body can be connected directly to
the JetiBox or to the input EXT. of the DUPLEX 2,4GHz receiver."

@@Mr.Dane-RC The instructions are correct. You can display the telemetry either on a jetibox, or the jetibox emulator in the transmitter which you can add in Displayed Telemetry but you still have to navigate it to the Spin page every time you switch on. The jetibox emulator on the transmitter is not very nice to use, plus the real value of telemetry is not available - alarms, voice output, logging etc

hi, I just want to say your videos are incredibly valuable! question, my new jeti cant see data log, data analyzer only shows folders. however, jeti studio is able to read it. have you heard of problems like this? sub and liked. thank you
