Está buena la idea aunque goku en ssj2 canonicamente era ampliamente superior a gohan en la misma transformacion pero es un lindo detalle y esta bien sostenido, debido a que gohan estaba especialmente motivado y decidido en esta animacion asi que es coherente.
@Alllex it would have also been like the 22nd and 23rd World Tournaments in that they led us to new eras of Dragon Ball. The end of the 22nd introduced the new threat of Demon King Piccolo and heavy ki attacks. The Buu Arc would then parallel this, and make the Buu Saga smaller due to the break-up. The 23rd Tournament helped bring us into the Z Era. This would help in leading us into Super.

Good stuff! Also side note but seeing Vegeta at this point in time actually seeming pretty chill about the power gap was pretty wholesome lol

I love the idea that the reason Vegeta was smurfing wasn't because Goku was reaching strengths beyond the super saiyan, but rather because Goku embraced his role as a saiyan father and was about to beat his kid
That was fucking awesome. I always see fan works doing amazing animation but I don't always see fan works that tell such a GOOD little story in such an emotional and visually original way. It's not Vegetto SS5 fighting the fusion of two elder gods of destruction from a future timeline, it's a story about expectations and internal struggle. Great job.

The fact i didn't see this recommendation sooner is criminal. The whole animation and the way it was built is so cool and really gets you to feel like this could have been an actual episode. From Gohan having the vision of his past self to Videl motivating Gohan, this was so well done.
What upsets me the most is that I only knew about this animation from someone else and that also I only found out it was stolen by someone else FROM someone else. I couldn’t find this based on its own merits, but at least I can appreciate it now. Beautiful animation
This is some seriously impressive stuff! I love the part at 3:52 where Gohan faces his Cell Saga Self, even without any dialogue this scene speaks volumes to his character, I wish they did something like this in the original. Fantastic job dude, keep up the good work :D

Everything is conveyed through the expressions, imagery, and music, having no dialogue there just enhances the moment and makes it more emotionally powerful; really great stuff! I always hated how funimation butchered the original SSJ2 transformation in their original dub by adding in that inner monologue.
4:05 is one of the coolest moments in any anime/fan animation I have seen. Gohan looking back at the absolute monster he used to be, with the heavy realization that he lost the overwhelming power he used to have. If this was in the actual show, it could have kept Gohan from becoming irrelevant. His journey through the Buu arc could be how to reobtain overwhelming power and become Earth's main defender. However, this time, he would have to do it on his own terms rather than being tortured into obtaining that level of power.

Man this animation is so good and fire best part for me was between 2:08 and 2:34 I like all it’s movement including each of the hits anticipation I like the hue colour direction shifts between parts which is so nostalgic of early db till cell saga dbz similar to director yamauchi (sorry if there’s a miss spelling I mean the one which directed my most memorable parts of 1st dbz broly movie ) Good job man well done you surpassed yourself again well done😊 (Note I know you like Naoki Tate but in my humble opinion you’re better than him especially your art style although you may improve a very little bit in construction side of things but db always had those )

This was absolutely gorgeous, very glad Mark linked to the original because this was so well made and I’m glad you’re getting credited. One question though, is the implication at the end that Goku ran out of time being back from otherworld because of how much energy he was using and disappeared at the last moment? That’s what made the most narrative sense to me, but then you see him again at the and it’s sorta ambiguous.

Man this animation is so good and fire best part for me was between 2:08 and 2:34 I like all it’s movement including each of the hits anticipation
I like the hue colour direction shifts between parts which is so nostalgic of early db till cell saga dbz similar to director yamauchi (sorry if there’s a miss spelling I mean the one which directed my most memorable parts of 1st dbz broly movie )

This was absolutely gorgeous, very glad Mark linked to the original because this was so well made and I’m glad you’re getting credited. One question though, is the implication at the end that Goku ran out of time being back from otherworld because of how much energy he was using and disappeared at the last moment? That’s what made the most narrative sense to me, but then you see him again at the and it’s sorta ambiguous.
Oh, nevermind, it was that he lost the standoff and blacked out.

This is the best fan animation I’ve ever seen. The simplicity, the subtleties, the correct usage of the Japanese Language, that fantastic placement of the soundtrack, the emotional overtone that is beautifully put in scene; this is a masterpiece made by a genius that understands cinematography to the highest level.
