I love it when the producer lets weird things slip. Like owning purses. Or saying “Hail Satan”. Or talking about his son (which I won’t mention since he had seen that one yet.)
You’re right, Logan was an awesome movie. It really stood out above the rest. That being said, I don’t think I could watch it again. I hated seeing the Professor like that. It was nice to see Logan and his daughter though. At least at the end, he didn’t die for nothing. I can’t imagine any more movies with Wolverine in it without Hugh Jackman. It’ll be hard for me to spend any money from my purse on it...
“Oh, so the clone is gonna have his memory erased?” - What? No, he’s gonna die. “Oh! It’s just that in X-men Origins he got shot in the head with an adamantium bullet and just kinda forgot stuff.” “Fuck that movie!” 😂
@@OnMyMindEntertainment BTW, if you already answered that feel free to tell me, but will you react to Ryan George’s video about the guy who doesn’t understand helicopters? Or perhaps you’ve seen it already and can’t really react to it?
I thought that Prof. X's seizure freezing people in place, even after being stabbed, was a good visual due to the seizure causing catalepsy, a freezing of the muscles during the spell, while the seizure was ongoing. Of course someone would have to have heard of catalepsy before hand to consider that.
I cried watching this movie! I mean i know hugh jackman & sir Patrick stewart as wolverine & prof. X since I was a kid...it hurts seeing them dying like that
"...Sometime in the future you'll be thought of for the last time" is indeed bleak but also an unexpected statement which immediately had me pondering that fact and holy crap I was like 🤯until you laughed and I was like "yay!" again 😁
I almost commented that maybe the bullet was more destructive because it was a .357 magnum but then I checked and they used a .44 magnum in Xmen Origins so I guess they just forgot how guns work.
@@OnMyMindEntertainment Yep. “The Canadian Shield, also called the Laurentian Plateau, is a large area of exposed Precambrian igneous and high-grade metamorphic rocks that forms the ancient geologic core of the North American continent.”
Hahahahahah the purse thing! Screenwriter guy was like 😬 and then the yelling montage in the honest one was funny too! I liked this movie but it was kinda hard to watch...super emotional.
I like to think Alpha Flight was waiting at the Canadian border. They're Canadian superheroes. There was a blink and you miss it reference to them in X2.
Idk, it's true but why does that scare so many people? Who cares? 😂. By the time that "last thought" happens we won't exist to realize it anyway, so why stress about it at all? Besides, what would even be the point in being remembered at all in the first place? To be talked about in schools to children who won't even care? To be cited by future college students in essays? If you think about it for more than a minute, you can see how it's dumb to fear being forgotten.
Logan's my second-favorite superhero movie (first being Infinity War), but objectively, I think it's probably the very best superhero movie ever made. You can enjoy (not sure if that's the right word for this movie, but I'm sticking with it) this movie whether you've seen every X-Men movie or if this is your first one, whether you usually like superhero movies or not. It's just so well-made, with so much heart and emotion. It's not the easiest films to watch because of how bleak it is, but I always feel satisfied whenever I do watch it.
Honestly this is the best X-men, but it's ironic because it barely is an x-men movie. I mean, isn't it illegal not to mess up the timeline? Adamantium continuity is till a mess though... Side note : there is no barrier around Canada, it is the sheer charisma of Ryan George keeping out all evil. All Hail Ryan George.
“Oooh! Getting bleak is TIGHT!” - Yeah, you like getting bleak? “Yeah, check this out: Did you ever stop and realize that some time in the future you’ll be thought of for the very last time?” - Wow! That is... incredibly bleak! “I KNOW, RIGHT?! 😃” 🤣
Only wanted to point this out cuz I thought about it. Not nitpicking here, but the seizures could be both telepathic and telekinetic. This would make much more sense as only telepathic seizures would cause most people would fall too as they are frozen at weird angles.
I'm a bit concerned about Writer Guy's section of the fan base. However, the movie is hard hitting and realistic. Showing the true difficulty some face aging on a big character was daring. It's unique among the sci-fi/fantasy films, and has earned it's stand out place. I liked them both equally, very different, but both very good. Deadpool was a cop out, I agree, but the rest made up for it, I just ignored that part.
Lol!! I'm with you though, I love that Fox did this film, but I wish it was the actual last Fox X-Men movie. That wouldnhabe been a great way to end for them.
“Yeah and there’s more where that came from. My purse is full of cash! So you made this Wolverine thing R-rated too, right?” - Did you say you have a purse? ... - To be honest, I just needed a reason for Logan to accept a risky job for a lot of money and I was like: ‘Boats are expensive! Maybe he needs a boat’. “Boats ARE expensive. You need like several purse-fulls of money.” - Do you carry a purse? 🤣
Loved the movie, especially the girl who played Laura. She was freaking fantastic! And it was far more deserving of a Best Picture Oscar nomination than Black Panther. Don't get me wrong, BP was a decent movie, but not remotely deserving of a Best Picture nod. It was better than the first two Thor movies, but not as good as Iron Man or any of the Captain America movies.
I just hated Logan. It undid all the gains from Wolverine and Days of Future Past and depressed me for an entire week. But, I do agree with Deadpool that Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart were Oscar-worthy.
Hey!! Not sure why, but TH-cam isn't letting me see your comments on the Godzilla versus video. I can see you left a comment, even a test comment, lol, but I can't open them.

The “getting bleak” example that Producer guy gives is exactly the plot of the movie Coco.
