Excited for the LGO 2! I know people are not enthusiastic about the GO S spec and the LGO 2 announcement does not help its Introduction of getting Linx into stores. I like using Windows, but I do like seeing more handhelds with Linx options for casuals to encourage Windows to be more gamer-friendly. I have no handheld device, and I am looking to see if it could be worth supporting or Steam Deck (Then again, I am a small guy who likes big screens). Who knows if it does good numbers, Lenovo offering GENUINE support to the GO S, and giving out more options (OLED and paddle versions, etc.), we can see better GO S 2 more options and Lenovo can tell AMD to make a better in-house chip for the battery and performance for the next GO S 2.
Legion Go 2 looks very nice, but the only thing that bothers me are the back buttons on side of the right joycon grip. Seems really annoying to have those right where your hands are all the time rather than just on the very back. Personally I rarely if ever use back buttons on my Steam Deck so I hope they change the placement of those right controller buttons in the final version of the Go 2.
Yes! I worry about that exact thing, the right controller side buttons might be pressed accidentally constantly and might be uncomfortable to feel all the time there, specially at that supposed weight
My Claw 8 should be arriving any week now but I already want the Go 2. Seems like everything I disliked about the OG Go has been addressed except maybe the audio, which I haven't seen much info about. The S seems like a great Deck replacer but if you already have an OLED Deck, it's probably best to wait for Valve's actual Deck 2 OLED...whenever that happens.
Outside of a 8 inch screen this provides nothing over what we already have. You get a worse apu, smaller battery, and less ram then the ally x. Was hoping for at least something that completes with the ally x. Steam OS is nice, but bazzite has made it so its not actually a selling point.
I agree! I actually really like the screen & build of this, but I can’t justify trading out my Ally X to grab this at the same price with a LESS powerful cpu
@@retrohandheldsfair play, looking forward to seeing a size/weight comparison with the steamdeck, im waiting for a device to replace my steamdeck which is more portable
Why does everyone keep calling the z2 go a rebranded 6800u.... Like I get it's Rembrandt and they're using the same core architecture for the CPU, but it's just not a 6800u. It is new, because no 6800u only had four fours. The z2go has 4 cores, 12cus, 30% Smaller process node then Rembrandt.
@lilbenate660 if by better you mean better performance probably not. It could potentially have better battery life, more than certainly better than the original legion go. But the chip a device uses is not the whole story when it comes to battery life. So there's no real way of telling until it actually gets in people's hands for testing

I think it's awesome, but not so sure about the price of the Windows one...
Thank you! Very informative video. You're the only one who mentioned there will be different variations.
You are most welcome! Glad I could help

If the Gen 1 controller works on the Gen 2 I hope it's also vice-versa so I can get Gen 2 ergonomics on my Legion Go Gen 1 without upgrading to Gen 2
From what heard u can use the new legion go 2 controllers on the current legion go z1 extreme
Haha you and Russ are staying in the same hotel! :D

Where can we watch that Lenovo's event with AMD, Valve, Xbox?
Ah Lenovo should have a stream, ill see if I can find it!
Waiting for LGo2!

Please tell me more about the circular roads. I'm thinking of getting the go S because I hate the OG go dpad
steamOS is a BIG win
I need to know the story of how all of you TH-camrs ended up in the same AirBnB? Did you all set this up or did Lenovo set this up?
Ahh maybe next year! We weren't sponsored for this trip. Just shared an Air BnB 🫡😆
goddamn he said the name of our state correctly, GJ, you're my favorite dude in that same ass Air BNB thats visiting now. lmfao
😂😂
Amazing :) I wish the steam os version used an oled panel
That would be awesome!
Who uses speakers? Why would you do that? Get some decent ear buds they sound 1000X better.
Just gonna wait for that Legion go 2. This feels a little rush I think Lenovo is trying to hold on their corner of the market.

Are you guys sponsored by Lenovo?
No, they just invited us to check out the new Go. Not sure if we'll get a review unit, but i'm pre-ordering most likely.

Maybe you can help me. So is the S going to be better than the original? And will steam Os on it help save battery?
