Manufactured by Bombardier Aerospace, the Canadair CRJ-200LR made its maiden flight on August 10, 1995. To date, over 900 CRJ-200LR aircraft have been manufactured, an impressive testament to its popularity and widespread use. Excellent video: thank you. I flew in these a couple of times in my Munich days. Liked them, but they were rather too cramped for comfort with 2+2 seating. (Oh, and we too got a wave from the FO of a Hop! CRJ at Perpignan. It took me right back to my joy as a child when I got a wave from a steam engine driver in my home town in Scotland!)
