From 94' to 97', every melodies Noel wrote were great, that man got touched by the divine light (sorry i'm not english native speaker).

It's these lesser-known songs that recall the most authentic memories. Songs like Wonderwall I've heard every year since it was released, several times, but this song... this takes me back to the exact point in time when I fits heard it. Top tune!
How fucking amazing would it be if Noel played this on tour, He needs to realize that so many of his fans would love to hear stuff like this live. He has no idea. Paul Weller recently texted Noel telling Noel to play this very song 'The Fame' ( Noel mentioned this on a radio interview this month ) .
Paul Weller is on the ball, and knows what his fans want. He's always playing obscure tracks.

All the b sides are their best work.
I prefer Noel on thr acoustic, singing the b sides.... He gave liam the songs for his voice at the time, liam couldn't sing at their peak for acoustic songs IMHO! He could rock & shout in tune! Liam's voice is gone now IMHO, Noels vocal chords have recovered massively! Liam's have been hammered!

I think Noel voice wasn't ready for the main album tunes in the 90s & liam was already a front man in his own band & was ready to take his role & take over their worlds.
Noel had a plan IMHO & so did liam, IMHO.

@AlexFruen That's true. But I think that has a lot to do with the fact that the music business is a lot more diffuse than it was...and the current crop of stars haven't yet proven sustainability. Everyone always assumes that the new crop of pop acts will be gone in 5 years...and most are...but there are a few from every generation that are looked up to by the next.
As for rock. It's much less mainstream now than 10 years ago...but that cycles...it always comes back.
