his short shot technique is very interesting. The face angle from set up doesn't change. Good players have their face stay square to path, which looks like it is opening (not fanning by crossing the forearms), but on his it doesn't do anything. You would say it shuts as he takes it back. It seems to work, but like his full swing. Love watching this guy play.
I remember when I was a kid I always use to make a joke and say hey check out my fyruk swing and then I would proceed to basically do the same move as mw here it’s so funny because every time I use to do that swing I swear I would absolutely FLUSH it hahahaha I wonder if he did the same thing
wow..........someone who swings kinda like me.........I broke my lower back and tailbone, which is all fused together now.....S1-L3........and to golf again.........as I was hurt when I was 33.......after much gym work and exercise........I swing with an open like stance......3/4 swing and out to in swing with a jump at the bottom at follow through........and I hit easy long fades.......very cool to see someone else do this.........however I don't do the little hitch thing.........lol...........I was a pure power hitter before I was hurt with a draw and wide long in to out swing as my go to.........I was over 300 yrds before and can get one there every 3-4 now..........not bad for an old dude !!!
Kenny Omega I was gonna pick a fight when I saw your response, but then I saw your replies and it’s a fair point. It’s like guys like Shaun Marion or Lonzo Ball, shots are ugly as hell, and they’re also great shooters. You can have an ugly shot and still be successful. That being said, I actually kind of like when guys do things different from the norm. Guys like Daly with his long swooping shot or Furyk with his weird rotation, I enjoy guys who have a natural ability and just roll with it rather than try to fine tune a fundamentally perfect swing.
Sounds like he had a tough childhood. Played soccer, baseball and golf. Also got 100$ an hour instruction probably several times a week for years. This world is so broken.
@@jakematheson4 😆. No. People having EVERY opportunity available while others have to work fast food. How many poor kids become professional golfers? 0! How much money did his parents put toward his sports? If he had 2 100$ lessons a week(aside from travel, green fees, equipment etc) That is 800$ a month for 20 years= $192,000. That is total ballpark figure of just golf. And I totally low balled that figure.
@@idfk_1321 so let me get this right. The world is fair? Everyone is given the same opportunities? EVERYBODY can become a professional golfer if they work hard enough? EVERY parent who loves their kid and works hard can afford these lessons? Parents who can't afford it don't work hard? Parents who don't get kids expensive lessons don't love them? Come on dude!
I don't understand why you're trying to argue. Yes, he had a better childhood than most people, even he was more privileged than some other PGA players. No matter what, he's still really good at golf, look at him now. Why don't we just enjoy his game on the PGA and not patronize him about his childhood?
I love hearing how much he knows about his swing and how he explains it
Love the way George teaches

Stretch before and after the round / practice ..... gold in that.

Genuinely curious, what's with the ellipses? My gf's dad types emails this way too. What's the thought process behind it?

i know one day im gonna be better than all of this guy
No matter where the ball lands, ugly swing it is
I'm sure you have a great, aesthetically pleasing, powerful swing.
That swing won on the pga tour
I love it
I doubt he cares his swings ugly with the millions of dollars he now he now has...I'd say it was worth it
What a horrible swing
Kenny Omega, so you wouldn’t take it to be a scratch?
mebeingU2 well I play off 3 and I’d rather have my swing tbh. Even though he’s obviously an amazing player, that swing just isn’t nice to look at
@@TheSnakey93 I'm sure he'll cry all the way to the bank because a nobody on youtube doesn't like his swing.
Alexander Cooper calm down mate, just giving my opinion. I know he doesn’t give a fuck what I think, Do you think his swing is nice?

Jacob R what are you talking about? Kids playing lots of sports makes the world broken?

Jacob R let me get this right cause his parents worked hard to get paid well to allow their child to play what he wants to play is bad cmon dude
